Sightseeing

Best to park is in the English Heritage car park and walk up to the stones but if you park at bottom of the stone avenue on side of road you can park for free! There is a great coffee shop half mile away at the Gourmet Goat Farm on way to Wroughton with a farm trail for children too

Things to do

Great days out Museums and so forth
This amazing museum was set up by my late father-in-law colonel Michael Hickey (you’ll see his picture in one of the displays!) A great place for the family.. my son’s favourite place to visit. You’ll usually see lots of helicopters ( base for Apaches) flying at Middle Wallop base next door. Highly recommend a trip here and then onto lunch in Stockbridge
