From the house there is a longish (2 hours?) walk along the river which ends at the Chequers Inn - a traditional British pub with great roast dinners in the winter and a lovely beer garden in the summer. A must for those with energy to burn :)
The house is circled green and the start of the walk is circled red on the map.

The Bristol and Bath Cycle Path cuts through Redfield - I have added a map to show where you can join it. The green circle is you - the red circle is the path. It takes around 1-2 hours to cycle to bath - recommend stopping in the Warmley Waiting Room on a sunny day for cake :)
