This is my neighborhood liquor shop. The city is full of sketchy liquor shops; this is not one of them. Great service and decent selection. It's worth walking past other liquor shops.

Open daily until 10 PM, this CVS and pharmacy is convenient for LeDroit Park residents (granted, it's a little sketchy). Still, it offers conveniences of some groceries, medicine, and things.

Hands down, one of the most intimate dining experiences. If you like Thai food, can handle spicy, and are adventurous; you can't miss this. MUST call ahead for reservations. Ask for the "chef's menu."

If you like Ethiopian food - you are in for a TREAT. DC has a lot of wonderful Ethiopian restaurants, Zenebech tops the cake. It's fantastic and authentic. Yelp them to see for yourself.
