Expect to wait in line to try unique ice cream flavors like cardamom, vanilla Reece’s, and black licorice. They have favorites like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry too. Walk along the Riverfront Trail to the Hip Strip neighborhood to get to Big Dipper. They also have a second location near Southgate Mall if this location is super busy.

If you are looking for a quick and affordable lunch or dinner this is a good bet. The Bridge sells pizza by the slice in addition to salads, and pasta, wings. Enjoy your meal with a local beer, glass of wine or nonalcoholic beverage. If you need a slice of pizza and are in a rush their drive through window can be a time saver.

This is the most popular trail in the state of Montana and worth the effort of 600 ft elevation gain in less than a mile. Get your heart rate pumping and enjoy the view of the University of Montana and Missoula at the M. Continue another 1300 ft elevation to the top of Mt Sentinel if you are feeling ambitious. There are many trails on and around Mt Sentinel as well, including the Pengelly Ridge Trail, the fire road, Mo Z Trail and the Kim Williams Trail.

Whether you want to go one mile or 30 mile, the Rattlesnake Wilderness area has something for everyone. We recommend bear spray if you are going more than a few miles. The first three miles of the main corridor are busy with people.
