San Gervasio Mayan Ruins
The ruins are small and date back 1000 years. It was a place of worship for Ix Chel, the Moon Goddess. She was the Goddess of women representing fertility, childbirth and the patroness of womanly crafts and weaving. Entrance fee. Small shops selling local wares. Bathrooms. Free parking.
The park has beautiful white sand and a small reef just off shore. You will see many colorful fish and a forest of purple sea fans! Restaurants, restrooms and rinse showers on the beach. Lounge chairs, hammocks and umbrellas provided. Entrance fee.
