My favorite Japanese restaurant. The owner is a nice lady from Japan who will explain you how real family dishes are made in her home country (and it's not just sushi and tempuras...).

Real address is Piazza Buozzi 5, not reported by Google and closer to the apartment. Organic & Vegan bistro, but so yummy!!! My favorite dishes are the hamburger and the club sandwich.

This is the best place for the typical Focaccia di Recco, the ultrathin pizza full of melting fresh cheese, from Liguria.

Recently renovated open air swimming pool, it is currently the place to be in Milan in summer! Have a swim during the day and an aperitivo with music at night. Lots of activities for kids as well.

Everything Else

Must see! Cascina Cuccagna is a XVII century farmhouse immersed in Porta Romana area. Now a multifuncional centre, with a restaurant and many cultural activities, in a beautiful green environment.

Excellent gelateria. There are so many good ones in the surroundings (I count at least 15 in 1 square Km ) but this is one of my favorite and has really a lot of flavors.

Drinks & Nightlife

One of my favorite spots to go out at night. It was established as a cultural association and during the day it offers courses, workshops and other events, and runs various social initiatives such as a bike repair shop and immigrant assistance. In the evenings, Ohibò transforms into a club and disco bar with alternative DJ sets and garage rock concerts. Its prices are popular, but you must have an Arci card to enter (the card costs €10 and is valid for the whole year). Check their website to see all the events planned! http://www.associazioneohibo.it/wordpress/
