Food Scene

Captain Jim's Grill at Lake Barkley Marina is one of our favorite places to eat on a nice summer day! It is an outdoor cafe, but has some pretty decent salads, burgers, and chicken tenders, etc. And some rockin' shakes and ice cream! If you are out on the boat, make this your last stop for the day. On weekends, they often have live music!

Shopping

This little shop off Interstate 24 has the cutest, most unique little gifts, and a great Vera Bradley collection. We'll drive out of our way to stop by.

Cadiz is known for its antique shops. There are several located togther right in the heart of Cadiz (about 5 miles from our house). Perfect for a rainy day or just to get out and about.

Hancock's Neighborhood market is another grocery store in town. We usually stop at Food Giant for some reason - just a little more convenient (and we're used to the ay-out).

Essentials

Fred's is a discount store usually found in small towns, but I will say it is one of my favorite stops in Cadiz, because they will have unique decor and other "surprise" items. A cute little store - a step above Dollar General, in my opinion.

Small little grocery store in Cadiz, KY. Can be a little more expensive than "big town" grocery stores, but it is convenient and has most things you need (even a few gluten-free items).
