Its name simply means, cha-kaiseki + sushi. Cha (tea)-kaiseki refers to the simple meal that the host of a chanoyu gathering serves to the guests before a ceremonial tea. The restaurant is only one menu, Chef's choice, and as of April 2017 the price is Yen 10,000 for the course, which you will find pretty reasonable given the quality of food and services. The venue has only five seats, so a booking is essential. It does not have any signage, hope you can find it!!

Happo-En is a multi-purpose facility, and perhaps the most known for its beautiful private Japanese park. It is also one of most popular wedding venues by Japanese couples. So you will likely encounter brides in Japanese traditional kimono. You can walk in the park and can view shinning carps swimming in the pond and see a series of bonsai. There are more than a few cafes and restaurants within this premise. My favorite is a small cozy tea house in the park serving traditional macha. Your favorite to be Kochoan, traditional kaiseki restaurant with the dinner course starting @12,500 yen. http://www.kochuan.co.jp/blog/index.html http://happo-en.com/banquet/about/

My favorite 'premium burger' shop, open for lunch and dinner until 11pm. It is premium in terms of quality and surely of price but well worth. Warning - this is not for everyone. This place serves skewered giblets that is fresh and is grilled in front of you. Like yakitori but with the giblets. I was not much of fan for giblets until I went there the other day. Totally changed my impression, very fresh, tender and I can still taste it in my mouth... and very cheap. A catch is the restaurant is open at 5pm and you want to que before they open; otherwise, you will wait for some time. The restaurant closes when things run out, typically well before 8pm.
