This is our local pub, approximately two miles from Smoky House. Serves food and a selection of great ales and beer. Occasionally has live bands providing entertainment. Don’t miss the turning of the stone on November 5th, one of the oldest pagan festivals in the UK.

The harbour is quaint, visit Damian Hurst’s Verity sculpture, catch a boat tour to Lundy Island or enjoy the thrill of a fast rib boat experience. Fish and chips on the quay with plenty of cafe’s offering great food and Devon Cream Tea’s.

Approximately 180 miles of cycling heaven along what was once local railway lines. Covering most of North Devon from Torrington up to Ilfracombe, you will cycle through amazing countryside, beside the River Torridge and River Taw, get close to some of Devon’s best beaches where no car can access. Don’t forget to bring your bikes as this is a must do when here. There are also bike hire places along the route.
