A stunning gem with beautifully landscaped gardens, from French/English style to iconic Kyoto Gardens where peacocks lazily stroll totally unfazed by visitors. Bring some nuts for squirrels who can be very cheeky. In Summer there is Opera Holland Park, all year cafe and an amazing fusion French /Italian restaurant Belvedere with great value lunch at just £29 pp. There are also tennis courts but you need to book. Check details on the gate.

Australian version of Ottolenghi. They now have a branch on New King's Road near Chelsea Harbour and Hight Street Kensington - lovely well priced food served in quaint interior. Unpretentious but very cute. Also laptop friendly
