Everything Else

We love riding our bikes here, in the summer you can jump off the end of the pier (or watch!). In the winter, the lake freezes over, and you can climb out on top!!

We love coming here to see the HUGE sand dunes. There's a place where you can climb stairs to the top, and run down the dune to the bottom, it's lots of fun, great for kids!

This is where we had our wedding reception! I highly recommend the Sunday Brunch Buffet! Inside you'll find beautifully carved wood work imported from Europe. There's also a bakery attached, YUM! ^_~

Best pastries and breakfast, ever!! They have so many amazing things, with crazy cool flavor combinations. But go first thing in the morning; the best stuff sells out by lunch time!

Drinks & Nightlife

They've got a nice big menu of great food here, and over 100 local beers on tap. WOW! But if you go on a friday night, expect standing room only; they are pretty popular.

Essentials

If you haven't heard of Aldi before, here's the scoop! It's a discount grocery store. The story is they do lots of little things to cut costs so that they can offer the best prices for groceries; and they really do have amazing prices. Some of the things they do are: 1. You have to pay a quarter to get a shopping cart, then you get your quarter back if you return the cart. This encourages people to return carts, so the employee's don't have to do it. 2. There are no shopping bags. Bring your own reusables or grab a cardboard box as you're shopping. 3. The dry goods are just in cardboard boxes on pallets, instead of being shelved. It's still pretty tidy looking, but saves money for them because they don't have to pay so many employees to stock. :)

Open 24x7 for groceries, clothes, hardware, etc. Kind of like a super-Walmart, but nicer. :)
