Friendly neighborhood bar with outside area in summer. Sycamore has had barbecues and is a good place to watch sports with like minded fans, or to listen to local music groups. Front of bar is a flower shop as well.

Years ago, no one wanted to be in Williamsburg...but now it is a bustling scene with clubs, bars, millenial energy, huge flea market...and ferry to Wall Street. During the day, you can get there from house by walking to Beverley and Church Ave and taking the "G" train, but would recommend taking a cab there at night since the walk from the "G' at Church Ave. is at least 10 blocks from the house.
