I haven't tried this place personally, but saw it advertised on the local news and it looked amazing. It's a new sandwich shop that uses all local ingredients. You can dine in or take out - I plan to take out and go eat at the beach :)

A local favorite serving corn dogs for over 60 years. Pronto Pup has become sort of an icon in Grand Haven. If the line is long, don't worry, it moves quickly. Unless things have changed, they don't take credit cards, so have some cash before you decide to get in line!

They have an outdoor Tiki Bar - it's fun when they have live bands playing right on the water. Thursday nights at 9:00pm, Jack's has a free comedy show, which is surprisingly GOOD :).

This restaurant is a newer addition to Spring Lake! It's close, convenient and reasonably priced. Ted's has a modern atmosphere with a nice menu to include great wings, hamburgers, pasta and more. Ted's also offers a full bar with great local beers on tap.

This place always draws a good crowd and has been around since 1976. It's known not only for it's alcohol, but for being home of the Wet One - a Mexican burrito. I love the cheese quesadilla :).

Great atmosphere, often has live bands, and always boasts excellent beer :). If you're hungry, they have menus from various local restaurants you can order from and the food will be delivered to your table! They have recently expanded and now include an in-house coffee shop. Highly recommend!!!

New to Spring Lake! Great atmosphere and modern decor yet kept some of the unique features of the original building. Located in downtown Spring Lake. Fuel bar and refuge has a wide variety of many different types of foods and drinks. It is worth checking out for sure!

Aldea Coffee works directly with farmers who live in the mountains of La Union, Honduras. Every coffee served comes directly from these farmers. All coffees are purchased at above fair trade prices, and are specialty grade. Aldea in the Armory, Grand Haven, is located in the historic Armory Building in downtown Grand Haven. Aldea offers specialty coffee including espresso drinks and pour-overs. Great atmosphere too :)

Since 1839, two red lighthouses on the south pier are connected by a catwalk - you can access from shore and the Grand Haven Boardwalk.

The park has 1,100 acres of land including 3 miles of sand beach on Lake Michigan. Ten miles of hiking trails, including Dune Climb Stairway on the tallest dune. This is one of my favorite spots to find a dune with a view, hang a hammock and relax :)

This is a nice local spot on the Grand River - it has boat launches, a playground, picnic tables and even a bandshell where you might catch some summer festivals or bands playing some summer evenings. I enjoy taking a blanket, a picnic basket, and someone special to soak of the views.

This is a beautiful spot but requires a bit of a strenuous walk to get to the beach - if you're into a little work out, you'll love it! You'll find hiking trails and boardwalks, a swimming beach, picnic tables and grills.

There are many shops such as Kilwins for ice cream and treats, Blueberry Haven for all things blueberry, Global Peace Tree for a unique selection of gifts, jewelry, coffees, etc... and many, many more! You'll also find great places to eat, have a drink and be entertained.

Getting Around
This is a great service... almost like a cab. You call, they come pick you up at your drive and will take you anywhere around Spring Lake or Grand Haven. I believe the rates are between .50 and $1.50. Call: 616.842.3200
