Best authentic Mexican food in the neighborhood. It's so good they opened two other shops, one in Roslindale right across PS Coffee gourmet, and the other in Germania Street; right off of Stony Brook Orange Line Train Station. I recommend everything on the menu as they are good at what they do. Definitely a must eat location!

Theres a reason they call this long lasting Pizza Shop "Same Old Place". A small shop with great staff this place is an all-time local favorite. Their pizza is not only large in size but really packs a filling of flavor and satisfaction. Best part about it is that its right across an Ice Cream shop, the most famous JP Licks Ice Cream.

If you have not heard of JP Licks, you need to add it to your list of must try's. The offer a wide variety of ice creams and are also vegan and gluten free friendly! A summer night on center street is the best time to snag a bit of that cold dessert.

You can get to Cambridge by taking the 32 bus to Forest Hills, get on the orange line and travel to Downtown Crossing which is connecting station to the red line. Take the red line outbound towards Alewife and get off anywhere between Central Square and Porter Station. Want to visit Harvard, the red line takes you directly to its campus.

City advice

Getting around

The MBTA is accessible all around the city

The #32 bus has a direct stop at the end of the street (take a left after exiting the apartment) that will take you to Forest Hills. There you can take any inbound Train to Boston. The orange line will take you directly into the Downtown and connects to all other lines. You can purchase a subway pass at any of the self service machines found on the platform of Forest Hills station, if you need assistance, you can ask for help from the information center (located on the platform). Busses accept cash if you do not have a subway pass.
What to pack

New England weather is unpredictable sometimes

Make sure to pack appropriately depending on the forecast. If you plan to walk or travel about in the city, be ready for anything, it can get very hot and humid during the summer months. Expect the weather to change, it will do that at times.
