If you want to venture into Bandera, it’s just a short ride up the highway. They've got a great Main Street there with a HUGE antique store and an adorable soda shop. If you want to ride in for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, stop by the Cracked Mug; for a chicken fried steak that will knock your socks off, hop on down to TJ’s at the Old Forge.

Should the water be low in the lake this is a great location to take the family. Close to the dam and plenty of activities for the family. Also, best place to launch a boat or jet skies, if needed.
