Parks & Nature

A place where they used to make all the bricks in Toronto, now used for many natural, eco-focused events. Visit the year round farmer's market for brunch with fresh organic local food, crafts and if you're lucky - great live music. Come for a skate in the winter (bring skates) or take a walk in the summer in the trails and natural ponds behind the buildings and watch the turtles, frogs, fish in the ponds wade by the the lillies and stunning lotuses.

A great spot to hang out if you're looking for a beach to chill on. There is a food truck there if you get hungry as well. On the last day of the weekend in the Summer, if you listen and follow your ear to the music you will find a great beach party that goes from 3pm onward. Bring a blanket, a frisbee or your dancing feet. Be prepared for electronic beats and DJ's. Cover is $10 (I think).
