The trail is 7.2 miles, one way, from the Neptune access (west end) to the eastern-most point on the College Bridge. The trail follows the path to the San Luis Rey River. This relatively flat trail is safe for all age groups, is completely separate from motorized traffic, and is free of stop signs and traffic lights.

Alex Road Skatepark is now open! Oceanside’s newest skatepark opened on August 30 with an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The park is located on the northwest corner of Alex Road and Foussat Road. The new concrete skatepark park is 22,000 square feet and includes street features, two bowls and two snake runs.
The park is open to skateboarders only. No scooters, roller blades, bikes or other equipment is allowed in the park. The City of Oceanside wants to keep the park open, safe and in good condition. Please report vandalism or broken equipment to staff at the Oceanside Parks and Recreation offices at (760) 435-5041.
