Check out Vivid Sydney 2019 - the spectacular light show that should astound you as you take in the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House cruise and go for a walk for a Vivid sensory experience whether joining a dance party or just visit all the installations at The Rocks, Royal Botanic Gardens, Chatswood, Taronga Zoo, Barangaroo and Luna Park from 24 May - 15 June. Just be mindful of your safety when venturing out with large crowds. Extra public transport will be put on but allow additional travel time.

I prefer to shop here on Fridays when the crowds are not here. You can pick up 5 pieces of clothing - for $50 - latest clothing labels (of course you have to rummage), plants and fresh fruit at bargain prices. Best pho noodle soup - get there early for the soup because it runs out early. Shhhh... the crowds come on saturdays. Great atmosphere on Saturday though. Sundays great too if you love rummaging.

Apart from being at Circular Quay, the MCA Graze restaurant offers a grand seat view of the Harbour and the Opera House. This is probably the best kept secret in Sydney having excellent service and delicious food especially the Bouillabaisse.
