Holiday rentals with a kayak in Sabine County

We enjoyed our recent stay very much! It was so nice and relaxing, and it had everything we needed (and then some). We enjoyed our mornings/evenings on the dock watching the sunrise & sunset. We had fun fishing off the dock and kayaking. It was perfect for an extended weekend getaway. Everything was amazing, and we would definitely stay here again! 😊

Tim’s rental property was perfect. There was plenty of room both inside and outside for adults and kids. The boat dock had a paddle boat and kayak that kept the kids entertained while on the property. The home itself was so spacious, clean, and welcoming. Tim’s place will definitely be top of the list for future stays on Toledo Bend.

Awesome place to stay, very clean and the description on listing was very accurate. The owner made us so very comfortable. Every evening after coming off the water we were greeted with some great baked goodies like Banana Bread and Persimmon Bread were just a few of the goodies. We would recommend this place to anyone that wants a clean, inviting space to vacation.

This was perfect for our family. Probably the best stay cation we have ever had. We brought our boat and tubes. The boat launch is next door and the boat house was perfect. We fished, swam, dove off of the boat house. The water is 17 ft deep at the end of the dock. The hot tub and outdoor T.V. along with all the decks was just absolutely beautiful. Lots of space for a large family to cook and enjoy the outdoors. The house is perfect, the beds are comfortable. We cooked every meal and never left unless it was on the boat. Kitchen is very well stocked for the avid cook. Would definitely recommend. I felt like I was in the movie Grown ups. Definitely a fun family location. Host is very responsive and friendly. You can't go wrong with this listing.

Stephanie was very quick to respond whenever I texted her. We loved the back porch and the view of the lake. The inside was clean and welcoming. We cooked steaks on the grill one night. The only drawback for us was that we were about 25 minutes away from the Marina where we were meeting our fishing guide. That was on us because we didn't check on the distance before we booked. The drive wasn't bad at all, hardly any traffic at all, so it was a pleasant drive. It was relaxing sitting out on the deck and enjoying the scenery. It was quiet and peaceful. The 4 of us were happy with our accomadations.

Beautiful view! This was the perfect place to get away and relax for the weekend. Host stopped by shortly after we arrived and replaced some defective kayaks. The house is tucked away and private for the most part. My favorite feature was the dock, it was nice being able to lay out and relax. Views are amazing, especially at sunset! Thank you for having us!!

This place was phenomenal. The house is beautiful, with plenty of space to spread out. Being at the back of a small cove, there was no through boat traffic. This led to very peaceful mornings and evenings down at the wharf. The large yard and downstairs game room give ample space for kids to run and play with endless fun for all ages. If you bring your own boat, being able to keep it in the water tied to the wharf saves a lot of time instead of having to launch every time you want to go fish. No boat? Fish from the wharf. I would recommend this place to anyone, and look forward to go back. The hosts were fantastic to deal with and very friendly.

A wonderful cabin retreat with dock access on a beautiful lake. Very comfortable and relaxing!

super cute, super comfortable cabin, right on the water. fenced in porch was great for the pups and the provided kayaks were in great condition and super fun to paddle around the lake. I was a little hesitant about using the outside shower, but it was fine. mattresses were very comfortable. views of the sunset were stunning. the BBQ grille was a little wobbly, but it worked fine

The cabin was adorable, and just the right size. We were fortunate after talking to Megan that we could bring our doggy along. He is crate trained and the doggy bags were a plus for easy cleanup. We did have issues with service and at one point wifi was out (it was storming) so we played games and cooked. Plenty of towels, good coffee in the AM and laundry was a huge bonus. The cabin had room for our atvs and trailers and was the perfect escape from the crowd at Sabine atv park. Thank you Megan! We enjoyed our stay!

A great get away for lake life! Great furnishing, cleanliness and a very unique cabin! All around a great little cabin that we will definitely be coming back. Good parking for the truck and boat with all the conveniences anyone or fisherman would want. We loved the swing on the porch and the beautiful view. This cabin was perfect and cozy.

We took a family fishing trip here. It was very cozy and in a great place! Our host responded very quickly to every question I had. The other people at campground was extremely friendly. We would definitely love to come back here!

It’s not my first time to stay at one of Megan’s cabins and as always, I was well served. The place was clean and well stocked. Everything worked well except the WiFi which is a problem in the area. Phone service is bad in the area as well. Not Megan’s fault.

Paiton was very responsive and a great host. Beautiful waterfront cabin. We highly recommend Paitons place!
