This is a renovated 100-year-old traditional Japanese house located at the foot of the mountains by the sea in Nanaura, Echigo. It is available for rent as a whole. It's too simple to call it a traditional Japanese house, but it looks old and new. I hope you will remember this pleasant feeling as one of your travel memories. This is the Mase coast in Nishikan-ku, Niigata City (formerly Iwamuro Village). 25 minutes by car from Hokurikudo Makari IC and 35 minutes from Sanjo Tsubame IC.The horizon of Echigo Nanaura stretches out below. 130-year-old private house on Sado Island｜TOM

At our accommodation, guests can enjoy a traditional “Irori” (Japanese hearth) experience available from October to early April. The basic experience is free of charge, though some activities may require an additional fee depending on the contents. If you wish to participate, please contact us at least one week before your stay. Enjoy a relaxing and memorable moment around the warm fire, surrounded by the charm of a traditional Japanese home. Please note that the Irori can only be used when accompanied by the owner. For safety reasons, use of the Irori without supervision is strictly prohibited.

This is an old private house in the middle of Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, in the Shinho area of the Kunakun Plain. We renovated a 130-year-old house built in the Meiji era and opened it as an accommodation. A short walk from the inn, you can see the Kunonaka plains with rice fields and the dancing of the red egrets. The owner is a rice farmer, but he runs the Sado Nature School, which navigates the nature of Sado. You can also observe the clear starry sky of Sado while listening to the owner's commentary. Enjoy a relaxing time while enjoying the nature of Sado.

Sado/Komino's private ancient house [Den Shichiya]

About 3 minutes by car from Sado Kisen Ogi Port. 13 minutes on foot. This accommodation is a private rental, limited to one group per day. Denshichiya is the original name of this house. The name of the inn is the same as the name of the house, which the neighbors are familiar with. This is an old private house built in Showa 3 (1928) in the Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings. It has a high atrium and is open. We have all the facilities you need to live comfortably.

The perfect house for those looking for a bit of quiet and time away from the hustle and bustle of city life. “Asahi” was originally a “Minka,” a traditional Japanese folk house, which we remodeled a few years ago. “Asahi” is one out of three houses on our property and as we rent “Asahi” in its entirety, you’ll be able to enjoy the comforts of your own privacy. The house is comfortable for two but can easily accommodate up to four guests.
