Family-friendly holiday rentals in Sagadahoc County

The Seguin Treehouses are fantastic. Set in a pastoral setting with such unique accomodations. Just far enough from civilization to make you forget about it, but close enough for food and travel needs. Great process for check-in, helpful instructions on everything from accommodations to services to things to do. These are not to be missed!

Sometimes photos just don't do the real thing justice, and this is the case with this property. The property and the views are truly spectacular! The home is huge and has everything you could ever need to live for a week or more. The porch, especially the screened in portion are magnificent and the hot tub was a perfect way to finish up a great day. We had so many plans to adventure out, but found ourselves wanting to stay and enjoy the pristine yard or just sit on the porch and enjoy each others company, we didn't want or need to leave. Having coffee and watching eagles fly by over the river was truly spectacular. Judy is one of the nicest, easiest hosts we have had the pleasure to work with and truly appreciates your patronage. And Hugh's journal on all things Graywood is a lifesaver. Not only would we return again, but we look forward to it.

Our stay at the Isle au Haut treehouse was incredible. It was the perfect setting to disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We loved watching the view and listening to the birds. The hot tub was amazing once we got the hang of the wood fire. The whole experience was definitely a highlight of our trip to Maine! Thank you!

We stayed in a clean, comfortable home in a magical setting. We saw wildlife among the grass, had a distant view of the bay, access to a fire pit (bring bug repellant), plenty of space for the dogs. The house had a homey feel with everything we could possible need. And Sandy was always a message away with a quick response! We also met Ray who gave a little history of the house, both interesting & entertaining!

We had a fantastic stay at Luanne's! The house is in a good location, about 10 min to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property is beautiful with a great view of the water. The bedroom and bathroom setup worked well for us, since most bedrooms had access to its own bathroom. Everything was clean, appliances and grill worked. Luanne was very responsive to any questions and issues. Renters should note that there is a guest cottage/converted garage on the property, just about 15 feet away from the main house, and this cottage is also rented out. The property is essentially shared between the two houses. It did not become an issue during our stay, but we were cognizant that there may be another car coming up the driveway when the dogs and kids were out in the yard and it did make the property feel less private. Overall, would recommend Luanne's for a great stay close to Boothbay.

We had a delightful stay in this unique, beautifully designed, well-equipped house. The views were incredible and we stayed "home" for the majority of our meals rather than go out to eat and the kitchen was very well-stocked with high quality everything. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the late afternoons, listening to the birds and watching the tide go in and out. Very peaceful and just what we needed after a stressful July. We didn't love Brunswick itself, however -- a bit too commercial and built up for our tastes and there was traffic getting everywhere. That was the only downside of our stay but the house was wonderful.

Cleo and Aaron are so awesome. Super friendly, very helpful. Their home is lovely and we loved the dock. Aaron even lent me a fishing rod which I was able to use to catch and cook a mackerel :) We’ll almost definitely be planning another visit in the near future.

This was such a wonderful property for my family -- beautiful and peaceful with lovely views. We loved spending our days out in the spacious yard, playing lawn games, sitting around the fire pit, and fishing, and eating all our meals out on the patio. Everyone left feeling very relaxed and happy. Thank you Pam and David for sharing your home!

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

What a gem this home will be as Kate continues to transform it - loved reading about its history and trying to figure out its origins. The instructions were super detailed, and everything was as described - clean and tidy. The home is in a peaceful area, friendly neighbors, and we loved being able to have the windows open to hear the birds, frogs, and roosters. We were only 15 mins away from Brunswick proper, and Kate gave some awesome recommendations on where to grab a bite and what to go see.

Jennifer's place is so interesting, clean and tastefully decorated! We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely would return there, as many guests do. Be sure to check out the wonderful nearby Salt Water Cod Cafe and the many Maine-made things from Seaside Creations on the road to the Giant Steps on Bailey's Island. Also, the chocolate from Jennifer's candy store up the road is really good. Thank you Jennifer for making this experience possible!

We loved Jessie's home! It was exactly like the photos and the views were outstanding. Well appointed and comfortable beds. It was wonderful my to wake up and have coffee on the deck overlooking the river and to see it all day long through the first and second floor windows. Our family of 3 couples and 3 toddlers (1, 3 and 5 years) had lots of room to spread out. The house was very close to the center of town and we all walked to restaurants and shops every day. Jessie was very responsive and accommodating. If we return this is the home we'd love to rent again. It was perfect!

My family and I had another great stay at Kathleen’s. We arrived and were so grateful for a clean and comfortable stay. We cooked lobster and were so happy to see that Kathleen’s kitchen had everything we needed. Excited to go back a third time!

Comfortable upstairs apartment that looked exactly like the photos. Close to Bowdoin and restaurants in downtown. Would happily stay there again.

We loved Jason's place -- cozy but spacious, charming, clean, quiet and two blocks from restaurants and shopping. Jason and Ericka were responsive, helpful and hospitable. The location is unbeatable.

Very nice rustic cabin, convenient location to Brunswick. Our stay was in mid-October, and we knew there was no heat, only space heaters - unfortunately got into the low 30s at night and we were very cold. Grateful for the many blankets! The two beds are not full twins, more like 24” beds; it was ok for our small teenager. Well water. Nice location and would go back in warmer weather! Very responsive host.

The apartment was so peaceful and well laid out. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed to be a great base to explore Maine from. Bruce was helpful and always available when we needed anything.

What an amazing place. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some. Carolyn and Dave were great hosts, available but not intrusive. I even got a text to let me know it started raining and my sunroof was open. We loved the location and will definitely check to see if it is available next time we are visiting.

Magical! Fran and Olivia’s home is the epitome of charm! The location is unbeatable with gorgeous water views and serene woods surrounding . Our group had 6 adults and we were all comfortable and had space to gather as well as spread out to have quiet time . The outdoor shower was such a bonus . We had some fantastic meals from local restaurants and tried several coffee shops that were all outstanding . We did a lobster roll taste test and the one from Gurnet’s trading co around the corner beat out all the others . Brunswick is a nice location to do day tips from and we appreciated having anything we needed so close by while feeling so far away and peaceful at the house . The extra touches and helpfulness of our hosts was the icing on the cake . We would love to return !
