Storybook Cabin High in the Sangres

ThomasRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Cabin was cozy and very comfortable to stay in. Rocky was great with a first day tour and even a trail recommendation. I'll tell you, it's hard to beat the views from every exit or standing point at the cabin. Westcliffe is exactly what you would expect from a mountain village, friendly and easy. Definitely recommend Peregrine Coffee in the village. Plenty of place to hike within an hour or less. Road, while unpaved, is easy to drive on, though I wouldn't recommend it with anything less than an SUV. If we make it back to Colorado, we would stay here again.

Cozy and stylish retreat studio

SarahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had such a peaceful and lovely stay! The property is incredibly quiet and zen which was perfect for unwinding. The garden is absolutely gorgeous, and the evening sky was breathtaking - the best sky views happened around 11pm so make sure you can stay awake! There was a mountain view from the bedside that really upgraded the mornings! Our host was wonderful - very communicative and thoughtful throughout our stay. Nicteha provided extra supplies for us to use and even brought us little treats, which made everything feel extra special and welcoming. One helpful tip: the listing mentions mosquitoes in June/July, and it’s definitely true. Be sure to apply bug spray before arriving, especially if you’re coming around dawn or dusk. Overall, this place was a beautiful, relaxing escape with such kind hospitality. Highly recommend and we plan to return!

Crestone Mountain Retreat Cabin: Quiet in Nature

JoelRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Erin’s cabin was lovely. The scenery is absolutely amazing. We visited the great sand dunes national park, zapata falls, and a bunch more local spots. The food in Crestone was probably the best we have ate in a long time!! Highly recommend this sweet oasis.

Great cabin for outdoor enthusiasts.

We loved staying at this beautiful house which is only out matched by the beautiful surroundings. It was close to local rock climbing and an easy day trip to many other attractions like the sand dunes. Our host was extremely accommodating and quickly came jumped on fixing our one issue which was slow internet. I’m happy to report that the internet speeds are now more than adequate for two people working remotely. We are already talking about coming back next year and maybe staying a bit longer.

River Access Guest House

I arrived just as Steve was leaving to play with his band at Antler's, a local restaurant, and we had several minutes to chat. He's a real friendly guy, and he told me about several hikes in the area. I love live music so actually went to the last half of his gig once I got settled. He's a great musician! Look for his band "Caldera" when you are in town for some really nice musical entertainment. Steve was very responsive, and the location of this place is just breathtaking. Only a short drive to town. There's a short walk down his trail through a small forest to the Rio Grande. He encourages meditating on any of the stumps en route (which I did, and which was fantastic!). The view from any window is breathtaking. It's a comfy spot for one or two (I was solo). I really appreciated the iron and ironing board, since I was halfway through my trip and had just done laundry the day before. There's a short drive down a dirt road to get to his place, but don't let that stop you. It's a gem.
