Staying at this Airbnb was the best experience we have ever had at an Airbnb. The receptionist was so kind, even called us at the airport to confirm we were still coming after our flight was delayed. Once we arrived, the staff was so helpful. They brought our bags to our room, gave us a tour, even provided water for us. They offered to drop us off at locations if we needed assistance. The host and staff were very quick to assist in any way they could. If we are ever to come back to Dakar for another trip we would 100% return to this location. We have already recommended this place to our colleagues. Thank you for a fantastic trip to Dakar and thank you for the amazing stay at your location.

**Highly Recommended!** We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful apartment for a week. Located within Dakhla itself, it is slightly further from the kite spots, but we chose this intentionally to experience more of Dakhla (and not only at a resort). The apartment itself is spacious, featuring four bedrooms, two expansive terraces, a large barbecue and pizza oven, a generous jacuzzi, and even a traditional hammam! The street is bustling with convenient shops where you can purchase various items. We even ventured further into the city center and discovered a wonderful market offering fresh produce, which was perfect for our BBQ with Joe. Joe is always ready to assist, very flexible, and provides excellent tips. We will definitely return next year!

We had a lovely one night stay here. You will enjoy a quiet yet peaceful surrounding on this beautiful island. The host is veru warm-hearted. Our family truly felt welcomed!

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was very clean, with a beautiful view of the sea and the golf course. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay — you can cook your own meals in the well-equipped kitchen, or take a short ride by golf cart or a walk to nearby hotels and restaurants. The host was very friendly, always helpful, and quick to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Belle maison, idéalement située à deux pas de la lagune, dans un environnement joliment arboré. Le logement et le mobilier sont un peu vieillis mais néanmoins fonctionnels. Je n’ai jamais rencontré, au Sénégal, des sanitaires avec une aussi bonne arrivée d’eau ; cela a été largement apprécié. Guy et Amy se sont par ailleurs montrés flexibles quant aux heures d’arrivée et de départ, et Zoul, le gardien, était très gentil et disponible. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Walid was a great host, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. He was always available if I needed anything, but otherwise left to be at home - welcomed after a day exploring! The place was exactly what I expected, located on the West Bank, a very short walk from the public ferry. It offered some peace from intensity of the city. The secluded garden was a special place to start and finish days, feeling immersed in a more authentic Egyptian experience than I would get anywhere else. The Egyptian and Moroccan architecture makes for a fantastic experience, with domed ceilings and arches built into all the rooms, and some quite special bathrooms (I had a tour). My room was spacious, had plenty of places to spread out my things and all the modern features needed (AC, fridge, hot water, power sockets). Walid and his family have clearly put passion, energy and creativity into building this place and I really wish Walid success with future plans, which I hope to return and see.

Landry’s seaside rental on the coast of Cotonou, Benin, was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Landry himself was exceptional in his communication — before our stay, during, and even after. He is a true gentleman and, to me, a wonderful example of the promise and potential that exists across Africa. During my wife’s stay, she encountered a small difficulty — nothing related to Landry or his property — but as soon as I reached out to him, Landry stepped in immediately, took care of the situation, and ensured she was comfortable and reassured. His attentiveness meant we never had to worry. I honestly cannot recommend Landry more highly. He is not only an excellent host, but also a genuinely good person.

The Host was professional and the location was very perfect…The place was as seen on the advertisement and very clean and spotless.I will definitely stay here anytime I come to Ghana and will recommend to my friends as well….

Wow! I just had the most amazing stay at Youness’s villa in Dakhla ⭐️! The villa is absolutely beautiful and spacious, stylish, with breathtaking view from the rooftop! Youness and his team were so welcoming and gave us excellent local tips! If you want a perfect getaway, this is the place! I can’t recommend it enough! 🥰 Thank you, Youness and 5Star team! Un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Bintou. Nous y sommes senties en sécurité critère très important pour nous. Le petit plus du logement c’est sa piscine à débordement. Le seul petit hic du logement c’est qu’il faudrait être véhiculé. En basse saison les restaurants de la plage étaient fermés. Quant à Bintou, elle a été très accueillante, disponible et surtout très amical. Un grand merci encore et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Stilvolles und geräumiges Haus - wirklich unmittelbar am Strand gelegen... ein Traum! Man kann einfach auf der Terrasse sitzen und das Geschehen am Waseer beobachten; oder man kann sich vom Geräusch der Brandung in den Schlaf wiegen lassen. Busua ist ein sympathisches und immer noch relativ unverfälschtes Örtchen.

Mr. Jatta Thank you for everything. The listing was better than the photos. Beautiflly decorated, spacious, and included a generous welcome package. In addition, the kitchen is fully stocked to warm takeout or to make a home cooked meal. The location was ideal. Senagambia nightlife is a short walk down the street. Sĥould I visit in the future; I would love to stay for an extended visit! Mr Jatta you are very special, thank you again.

Nice week stay at Roberta's place. It's better (bigger) than the photos; very clean & comfy. Good bed w/strong AC, many ceiling fans, huge bathrm w/hot water, clothes washer, lovely secure front garden area. Location is super - just 30 seconds from the Nile & promenade. (Airbnb map location is NOT quite accurate; ask Mohammed for correct map details.) A full grocery is right on the corner, restaurants very close, village center 5 minutes walk (I walked to Colossi of Memnon one morn: 30 minutes). Crossing the river costs 50 eyp per person in the small private boats that are constantly offered - very easy. (Note: the public ferry (10 pounds) is 5 minutes walk - but the EAST side start point is moved further north past Luxor Temple. We never used it. Private boats saved much time & hot walks.) Best of all is Mohammed the 'caretaker'. Very helpful, honest & knowledgeable. He arranged private cars/drivers, balloon ride, can help you with anything. Good values. We'll stay here again. 😀

Great host! Nice spacious apartment. The pictures make the place look small but it’s actually quite spacious and the bathroom is huge. I enjoyed my stay Mo helped me by booking a few tours also transportation to Aswan. The driver he provided is very nice and is super knowledgeable of the land. Restaurants are within walking distance I highly recommend Nile Freedom the owner is super chill and the food is 10/10! Would definitely book with Mo again.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Alex und Stephi war in jeder Hinsicht hervorragend. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön eingerichtet, makellos sauber und sehr gemütlich. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Strand liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt, und es gibt dort bequeme, private Liegen – ein riesiger Pluspunkt für uns. Alex und Stephi waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben immer schnell geantwortet und man hat gemerkt, dass ihnen unser Wohl am Herzen liegt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!
