In ons gastenverblijf is het dus heerlijk 'thuiskomen' na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag in de stad, of bijvoorbeeld een fietstocht langs alle leuke dorpjes hier in de buurt.

Ons kleine grachtenpand ligt op een steenworp afstand van het historische stadhuis, het museum en de Sint-Janskerk, wereldberoemd om zijn glas-in-loodramen. Het aanzicht van het huis dateert uit eind 18e eeuw. En binnen zijn oudere elementen uit de beginperiode (1390) van het huis te zien. Gouda heeft een station en is centraal gelegen tussen Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden, Delft en Utrecht. De steden zijn aan te raden voor een dagtrip en goed te bereiken per trein.
