The apartment's ambiance is accentuated by open vaulted caribbean style wood ceilings and the luxurious, mediterranean style 'shabby chic' decor. The vicinity to the old town center (10 min. on foot) along the ocean shore, the harbour (ferry to Nevis), fruit, veggie & fish market, to some other restaurants and 3 supermarkets, make our rental cottage the perfect choice for every traveler who likes to stay central, while still enjoying a beautiful ocean view.
“Wow Wow and Wow! Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself! Although the photos are amazing, they do not truly express the experience and quality you will enjoy during your stay. I wish I could have stayed longer in paradise! I had planned to hit up the town and explore but I when I arrived I knew I wasn't moving an inch. Below is what I experienced,in the short while that I was there. Location: Basseterre Ferry Terminal (5-1 0 in taxi ride) about 15 EC ($5.55) U.S. dollars SKB Airport (15-20 min) about 50 EC about $18.50 U.S. dollars Walking distance to Fisherman's wharf and Basseterre shopping area Palm Court Garden (This is the location where the accommodation is) Hot tub, infinity pool, view: Stunning! Hospitality (Accommodation/Staff/Food/Drinks): Excellent!”
Our Turtle Beach Cottage is right on the beach! Fabulous views to our sister island of Nevis, the ocean and reef! Watch pelicans dive, sting rays leap and turtles bobbing their head up to catch a breath! Curious vervet monkeys may pay a visit, morning doves wake you with their quiet cooing and yellow crested night herons perch in our mangrove trees. Peace and quiet minutes away from excellent restaurants and activities. Beach combing easy walks and great hikes in our area.
“This property and stay were even better than my husband and I could have imagined! It was our honeymoon and the bed had flowers upon arrival and Ricky gave us Prosecco and two glasses. It was such a wonderful arrival to St. Kitts. The view is absolutely spectacular—unbeatable compared to some of the resorts around the island, and to mostly have it all to ourselves was the cherry on top. The beach was one of the highlights of our trip—we went snorkeling at least five times during our weeklong stay and saw more and more each time we went out. The property has sunscreen, tanning oil, bug spray (which you will definitely need), and fins, as well as water toys! There are great restaurants around as well. The Pavilion was our favorite, make sure you go there!! And breakfast at The Great House on our last morning was incredible! It was the best way to end our trip. We also went on a few hikes, one was suggested by Penny in her guidebook (which we referenced multiple times a day, it was amazing to have on hand!). My husband and I agreed that this was the best location on the island. We enjoyed all of our trips out (even to the grocery store), driving on the winding road with unbelievable scenic views! Penny and Ricky were attentive and thoughtful and responded quickly to our needs. Thank you so much for making our first trip together such an amazing one!”
Our Coconut Farm Cottage is pleasantly placed in the midst of hundreds of coconut trees adjacent to our working farm. Fresh local fruit and vegetables, fresh eggs from our free range chickens and a short walk to one of St Kitts most beautiful beaches. We are located right next door to the brand new luxury Park Hyatt Hotel. Fabulous restaurants nearby. Relax on the veranda with a cold drink and enjoy the outstanding view of the Island of Nevis over the palms. Truly a spectacular home!
“This cottage near Reggae Beach is well worth a visit. Close to several high end and casual eating places, it is but a short walk to a fabulous beach which at times you will have entirely to yourself. The cottage is located within the realms of a coconut farm. The bedroom and bathroom is upstairs, with a lovely and private open shower. The bed linens, pillows and towels are luxurious. The bed is huge. There is a porch with a daybed, also upstairs. The bedroom has an expresso machine, and a fridge. The kitchen, and another outdoor cold water shower and washroom is down stairs, as well as an open but covered eating area. There is a really comfortable hammock. The kitchen is small, galley style but well enough equipped for gourmet cooks. Also provided is a bbq grill. There are some bicycles, snorkeling gear and beach chairs for your convenience. You would need to rent a car for there are no grocery stores within walking distance, and taxis to the area will be quite costly, if available at all. It is really quiet. You might hear some animal noises, monkeys, chickens or the two friendly dogs barking, but the tranquility is wonderful. Occasionally you might hear some music from the nearby restaurants but it usually finishes before midnight if not sooner. Communication was prompt from start to finish. Baccus the farm manager was very helpful, and is always on hand if needed.”
