This place is a goldmine! If you’re looking to get away from the resorts and enjoy a stunning beach then here is where you need to book. The views and the pool were gorgeous. Carl was quick to respond to anything we asked or needed. I highly recommend this amazing apartment. It’s got air conditioning, all the kitchen equipment you need, not that we used it except for the coffee machine, he even allows you to use snorkel gear and kayak. Carl has to be one of the most gracious hosts ever! It’s right next to a little bar and fish market. The huge glass doors open to beauty and splendor. It’s a bit of trek down to Bridgetown, but that’s what we wanted. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. There’s not much of it and so showering wasn’t the best. But I assure you - it’s doable. The view and the host more than make up for the shower!!

An amazing location. Situated at the Northen side of the island, the area is accessible by public transport but not would not recommend if you are not confident travelling the local buses. Great host and a lovely place to stay away from the busy towns.

Absolutely stunning location overlooking the Caribbean Sea. You wake up with a beautiful view of the sea right from your bed! You basically have access to the beach which is beautiful and not many people use it so it’s like your own little piece of paradise! The apartment is well equipped and full of character! You can even shower while looking at the sun glinting on the sea!! The local people are so friendly and welcoming. Be sure to pop into Mr Moons shop for your supplies. Buses stop outside so it’s very easy to get about. We had breakfast and dinner a few times at the Fish Pot, which is walking distance.

If you’re looking to have a relaxing vacation away from the crowds and bustling activity of busier parts of the island, Carl’s place is a great choice. Waking up to the beautiful ocean view from the balcony, watching the sunsets in the evening, and going to sleep to the sound of the waves were unbeatable experiences. We had everything we needed, all of our activities were easily accessible by rental car, and there are great food options not far from the location. Carl is a friendly and responsive host. He would check on us occasionally during our week long stay to ensure that all was well, gave local recommendations, and even dropped off snacks and water. Barbados was a lovely experience and one of my favorite trips so far, I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit in the future!

This is a great place for tranquillity and being with the quietude of Nature . It is right at the top of the island of Barbados, with a 180 degree view of the Atlantic Ocean.. The accommodation is modern, with all amenities, including an Olympic swimming pool, right beside the cliff overlooking the ocean. There is a great restaurant on site and if you want to go to the beach, Nicki beach is a short 15 min. drive and well worth the commute. My wife Cindy and I really recommend this accommodation. This was my second time staying at Peter’s villa and would recommend it with confidence. 15 minutes by car to the beaches along the coast line with lots of restaurants and bars. Love this area great place to stay in Barbados! Michael and Diane

Juliette's place is great if you want a peaceful place to stay but still be 5 mins drive to Speightstown with all the bars, shops and beaches. the apartment is spacious and comfortable. Juliette is an excellent host, very responsive with communication and always around for recommendations whilst being unobtrusive.

Vuemont is secluded and peaceful with good amenities and really responsive staff. (We didn't want for anything, but Alicia checked in regularly to make sure we had all we needed and sent us holiday/restaurant tips which was lovely, making us feel more like family friends than random guests.) The apartment was really spacious and light and had everything we needed to relax, cook for ourselves and enjoy our holiday. The complex is really secure with 24hr staff, it is a little remote which makes lovely for a quiet restful time, but a short drive away from St Peters and attractions like the nature reserve and Haymans Market. Our favourite part was the lovely deck area that overlooked the pool and gardens. A great place to spend the evening with a rum cocktail! I would highly recommend and definitely come again. It could easily become a home from home......

I had a wonderful stay here! As a solo female traveler I felt very safe. The short walk to the beach and the strip of restaurants and bars on sand street was amazing! Can’t wait to be back!

Response is quick. Home is very clean. Walking distance to restaurants, beaches public transportation, banks, post office and local fruit stands. Very quiet and safe area. Hosts are friendly, welcoming, accommodating and available if you need anything. I was able to extend my stay (in the unit next door) and my check in/out request was accommodated. Beds, pillows and sheets are very comfortable and make a restful nights sleep. I’m glad I found this place and will be back as well as recommend to friends and family.

Pierreson is the best host I have ever met! He is extremely thoughtful for any detail that could make a guests stay even more perfect and unforgettable. He even installed a pulley to bring my heavy suitcase to the upstairs apartment and down again. The first day he gave me a tour around the city which helped a lot for orientation. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It looks exactly like in the pictures. There are different beautiful beaches in walking distance easily accessible in 5 minutes. Restaurants and supermarkets are 15 minutes walk away. The neighbourhood is very quiet and safe. I would very much love to come back and stay at Pierresons apartment. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful quiet and clean apartment in walking distance to great beaches and restaurants. Bakery and bus station in walking distance as well and the host really went out of his way greeting us with water and food for breakfast in the fridge, which made us feel warmly welcomed and right at home.

We had a fun but short stay in Speightstown, and wish we had stayed longer! Quiet, clean and walking distance from the beach, great food and drinks. Street parking was no issue. Would absolutely come back!

Mikes is a lovely place to stay. Bedroom is amazing with a great smart tv, really comfortable superking bed, en suite with rain shower which is not shown in pictures & lots of wardrobe space. Kitchen has all gadgets you need to be fully self catering, including air fryer which was invaluable as the oven smelt strongly of gas when on. Mike provides coffee pods, really nice toilet paper & afew basic items which is handy, but check expiry dates. Upon arrival Mike does a very thorough walk through with lots of instructions so bring listening ears, but most things are self explanatory. He is on hand & responsive if you needed. The property is safe & secure, & we didn’t hear neighbours at all. Unfortunately bedroom backs on to the main road so this is noisy, as is the wonderful wildlife at night. Bugs are rife & come through bedroom aircon onto bed. Pool is lovely but shaded by trees & noisy as by road. Dogs are very smelly but absolutely lovely. Haywoods local beach is the best we went to!

As a solo traveller this place was perfect for me. Modern, airy and spotlessly clean. More than enough kitchen equipment. 2 huge smart TVs so I could use my Netflix etc. 5 min walk to the caboose….best place on the island for fish cutters and a really cool vibe going on there. On the 3 minute walk from the property to the main road I think I chatted to every local. Such a friendly neighbourhood. And I saw a monkey run along the garden fence! All in all I had an amazing 11 days, and I’ll defo be returning. Thanks Halim

I've been visiting Barbados for years, and Lumiere is in a beautiful estate, with great amenities, and in a convenient location. the host, Lynne, was quick to respond, and flexible. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment accommodation.

just spent a fabulous two weeks at Hayley and Logan's villa. It was exactly like the photos and description with everything and more needed for 2 week stay. It was safe and secure with lovely swimming pool and wonderful beach where we spent most afternoons. There is supermarket some 5 minute walk with an abundance of restaurants and things to see nearby. We hired a car for a few days and there's a private parking space. However the buses are plentiful and cheap. The staff in the complex were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. We would highly recommend this wonderful villa and we are already planning our next visit. We even got to swim with the turtles on Schooner Bay beach which was amazing and the end to a wonderful holiday.

The home was exactly as expected, clean, and comfortable. The host was available in a timely manner to answer any questions we had. All utilities were accessible for use. We had no issue with our stay, and will stay again. Very Pleased with our experience.

Stayed for a week with our 2 & 4 year old. The apartment was great and perfect for the 4 of us. Amazing views from the large terrace! the communal grounds and facilities were ideal for us, it was very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was well equipped, clean and the welcome basket was much appreciated from Sheryl having arrived after a long journey. Sheryl also left some books for the kids which was very kind. The apartment is in a great location to explore the Island with a car. We thought the apartment was also good value for money and would definitely recommend.

I really can’t say enough good things about our experience at this wonderful condo. It was definitely one the best Airbnb rentals we have ever stayed at. The unit is gorgeous, even more beautiful than the photos. The location is great. It’s a short drive to both Hole Town and downtown Bridgetown. But I appreciate the fact that it’s not in a super busy location , which makes it extremely relaxing. On the beach, no crowds, brand new condo? Can’t beat it. Maxine and the other lovely folks that work at the condo are very warm and kind. It made the experience that much better. Tiffany always communicated when we have questions and had great recommendations. Thank you Tiffany and Bruce!

My son and I had a very enjoyable week at Alexis’s spacial apartment. There was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Alexis was helpful if we needed any information. It was very quiet while we were there and had the communal pool to ourselves most days. You need a hire car as the shops and restaurants are at least ten minutes away.
