PERFECT in every way. Hosts, accessibility, location, interaction, food, local community events, and bus timetables, with so much more. Next time, I will definitely take them up on car hire. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay, already looking at booking later in the year.

We had the most amazing stay at Neil's place and would go back in a heartbeat! The cottage is beautiful, peaceful, spacious and clean with everything that you require. The location is excellent with a 5 min walk to Mullins Beach and lovely restaurants. There is a local shop down the road where you can buy small bits that you require, the bigger supermarket is approx. a 5 min drive away. Neil was super responsive and organised for a lovely taxi driver, called Kenmore, who took us to and from the airport. We can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful week at Casuarina grande. The unit was newly renovated. It was very clean and modern with everything we needed. The Air Conditioning kept it cool. The pool is new and had nice loungers and umbrellas. The beach is a 5 minute walk. The listing was very clear there is construction on an adjacent new building. We slept in most mornings and the construction noise did not wake us up. However, you do hear construction noise if you walk outside or lounge by the pool. This unit is great if you plan to be out sightseeing during the day. Also note, there are some finishing touches being completed at Casuarina Grande so there’s some minor construction taking place on site too (moving appliances, external lighting, finishing rooftop terrace, etc). It’s a really great unit and will be superb when all of the construction is completed.

If you’re looking to have a relaxing vacation away from the crowds and bustling activity of busier parts of the island, Carl’s place is a great choice. Waking up to the beautiful ocean view from the balcony, watching the sunsets in the evening, and going to sleep to the sound of the waves were unbeatable experiences. We had everything we needed, all of our activities were easily accessible by rental car, and there are great food options not far from the location. Carl is a friendly and responsive host. He would check on us occasionally during our week long stay to ensure that all was well, gave local recommendations, and even dropped off snacks and water. Barbados was a lovely experience and one of my favorite trips so far, I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit in the future!

This was my second time staying here! When it nice do it twice, right!? The area is very peaceful and the hosts are great! Alysia and Kirk are always responsive and ready to assist! They literally come through at any time! Would recommend!

Lovely stay, Angel was very helpful and very responsive, the place was clean and tidy when we checked in, lovely view, definitely would book again.

This truly felt like a home away from home—everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was right there. The compound was spacious and peaceful, and even though the apartment is close to the shared pool, we were never disturbed by noise. While the beach directly in front of the apartment wasn’t ideal, the location is perfect and within a short drive of the beautiful beaches and restaurants between Holetown and Speightstown if you have a rental car. We did run into a small issue with the entry code and figuring out how to lock the apartment, but Becky and the property manager were incredibly responsive and helpful. Also, a helpful tip: if you’re getting cold water in the shower, make sure the water heater by the washer is switched on! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Stunning very big space with breathtaking water views and beautiful sunsets. Rooftop pool to myself almost the entire time and very nice restaurants down the street. The beach is immaculate and never crowded. You ll love it!

Lovely, bright studio apartment with huge balcony terrace. The views are amazing! Enjoyable bird song and other wildlife, including monkey spotting, right outside. The amenities withing the studio are more than expected. 5 min walk down to the beach and local restaurant, though we personally preferred Thunder beach, just 5 min bus ride away. We would definitely come back again.

Angela is an amazing host, who looked after us and advised us about what to do and how to get to places. Nothing was ever a problem for her. I arrived with my son and she made sure we had shopping and knew where we needed to be for my partners' arrival on an Ocean Rowing boat. The accommodation is very private and secure, though it was difficult to find at first. I would highly recommend this apartment for a holiday in Barbados

It was a pleasure interacting with Heather, she was responsive and accommodating. Her place was as described, clean and cozy.

We recently stayed at Betty's place for a week. The place is large, well appointed and well maintained. We slept very well, and appreciated the fully equipped kitchen for making our own meals and reheating leftovers. We also liked having a washing machine and dryer, as well as access to a clothesline. Betty is a wonderful host, and was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. It is a short drive to Heywoods Beach, and lots of restaurants and shops in Speightstown. Thank you very much Betty for making our stay so comfortable. We now know where to stay on our next visit to Barbados. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time! The location was ideal. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you're staying here. The hosts were incredibly helpful Laura went above and beyond by getting us a quote from a local car rental and arranged it for about £100 less than what we found online. I do have a couple of minor drawbacks, I would have liked having a private outdoor space, but this isn’t a criticism of the hosts since the property description was accurate. While aircon is listed as available, we got a message after booking stating that its use is limited and that extra charges apply for excessive use. We were informed that running the aircon can be quite expensive. There was even a sign to remind us to limit use. The host came down asking us to turn the aircon off because she thought we had it running all day and was worried about the motor overheating. We only had it on that morning and again in the evening for about an hour when she asked. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay!

This rental is right in the centre of Speightstown- easy access to great beaches and all the restaurants and bars - no need for car hire. Do not be put off by the car park access - this is actually quite quiet and you can easily walk to the beach on the left for great swimming and snorkelling or go right to access beach loungers at Just Chillin. The apartment is spotless with two good size bedrooms with ceiling fans and aircon and very comfy beds. Ralph has lots of small touches that make this place special - coffee bean grinder, tea, coffee and chilled water on arrival, lovely big fluffy white towels, shampoo ,conditioner , sun screen and aftersun creams. We had access to the washing machine and loved using the two pool noodles to float about . We also appreciated the flexible check out and helpful taxi booking from Ralph. And there is a large smart tv with apps ! Absolutely fantastic.

Our stay at Reeds House 1 was amazing! Mike (or cook) and Elsa (our cleaner), plus the relaxing surroundings were the highlights of our stay. The beach is a little rocky, but is perfect at low tide as you can swim out to a sandy patch. The apartment layout was a little divided as you had to go outside to access the second floor, but this allowed for privacy as our group was all adults. I would definitely recommend.

I've been visiting Barbados for years, and Lumiere is in a beautiful estate, with great amenities, and in a convenient location. the host, Lynne, was quick to respond, and flexible. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment accommodation.

Reeds house 9 is a great 2 bedroom apartment right on the sea front with glorious views. The beach is small and private and sun beds are on a smaller garden area just above the beach with steps down. There are specified beds for each of the 12 apartments. The jacuzzi is a great place to sit after a day in the sun! We stayed during the low season so the building was very quiet. It's in a good location pretty much in between Holetown & Speightstown. All the staff were extremely helpful with a special mention to our cook Marcia- She is truly amazing! We loved our time there and would definitely stay again. I must mention that as the apartment is managed by a management company, Blue Sky, and that there is no real personal touch. We felt like we were just a number or another booking. The response time was slow prior to my booking and when I asked for late check out of 3pm, instead of the usual 12pm, was told I'd have to pay a half day rate of around £140/$180usd. This was despite the apartment being unoccupied after we left and the fact we had spent £1900/$2500 for the week. Another thing to note that the arrival meal is charged later in your stay if you check in late. It cost us approx £60/£75 for two people.

What an amazing apartment! We were slightly hesitant when booking given the lack of reviews but we are so glad that we took the plunge. Mark and Margarita were amazing hosts and this apartment made our trip so much better. Located on a private beach, you have the option of swimming and sunbathing in peace. The location was amazing, and was very close to a lot of the nice restaurants and beach clubs that were recommended to us. Would definitely recommend staying on the north-west coast and this is the perfect spot! Would definitely come back to Reeds House!

just spent a fabulous two weeks at Hayley and Logan's villa. It was exactly like the photos and description with everything and more needed for 2 week stay. It was safe and secure with lovely swimming pool and wonderful beach where we spent most afternoons. There is supermarket some 5 minute walk with an abundance of restaurants and things to see nearby. We hired a car for a few days and there's a private parking space. However the buses are plentiful and cheap. The staff in the complex were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. We would highly recommend this wonderful villa and we are already planning our next visit. We even got to swim with the turtles on Schooner Bay beach which was amazing and the end to a wonderful holiday.

Stayed for a week with our 2 & 4 year old. The apartment was great and perfect for the 4 of us. Amazing views from the large terrace! the communal grounds and facilities were ideal for us, it was very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was well equipped, clean and the welcome basket was much appreciated from Sheryl having arrived after a long journey. Sheryl also left some books for the kids which was very kind. The apartment is in a great location to explore the Island with a car. We thought the apartment was also good value for money and would definitely recommend.

My son and I had a very enjoyable week at Alexis’s spacial apartment. There was everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Alexis was helpful if we needed any information. It was very quiet while we were there and had the communal pool to ourselves most days. You need a hire car as the shops and restaurants are at least ten minutes away.
