Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Saku

We had an amazing stay at Geoff and Aki’s place! They are incredibly caring hosts who made sure our trip was comfortable and unforgettable. They provided us with all the necessary information about the area and were always ready to help with visiting local attractions. The house itself was warm and cozy, with a breathtaking view from the window. At the end of February, there was a lot of snow, and the nearby ski resort was open – we could even walk there! Getting to the house by taxi from Nagano was easy, but traveling back without a car was a bit tricky. Fortunately, Geoff was very kind and helped us with transportation when needed. We truly appreciate their hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful stay in Nagano!

森の中で、楽しい休日を過ごすことができました。 結構強く雨が降っていましたが、タープテントがあり、BBQを楽しむことができました。

東京の酷暑と喧騒を離れ、今年の夏7月末～8月初めの12日間を過ごしました。 新緑に囲まれた美しい庭で、風にそよぐ木々の音、野鳥のさえずり、雲の流れを感じながら静かで穏やかな時間を過ごすことができました。解放感のある全面窓の家は、ソファーで寛ぎながら、キッチンカウンターからも美しい庭を眺めることができる素敵な空間でした。 近くに地元のスーパーがあり、新鮮な食材を使い料理をしたり、午後は万座ハイウエーで万座まで、温泉に入りに草津までドライブしたりとすばらしい夏休みとなりました。 宿泊前のオーナーからの回答も迅速で、写真付きの場所の地図もわかりやすく、また、センス溢れたアメニティ、食器は、オーナーのセンスの良さを感じました。 滞在中の夜に豪雨のため停電がありましたが、オーナーがすぐに連絡を下さり、怖い思いをすることはありませんでした。 また泊まりに行きたいです。本当にありがとうございました。

The place was great and felt like home for our large extended family trip. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. The host was very responsive. Great stay

We absolutely loved our stay in Matsaya’s apartment. Even before check in, she was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated and had ample room for our family of 4. There was great separation of areas so we make coffee and chat without waking up other family members. Beds were comfortable and could easily fit a family with 3 or even 4 children. The area was surrounded by cafes, restaurants (Maysaya recommended some wonderful places to eat) and a quick walk to a large, modern shopping centre. It was a two minute walk to Matsumoto Castle and a beautiful place to take an after dinner walk and watch the sun set on the imposing castle with mountains in the background. One of our favourite activities in Japan was taking the local train to Narai-Juku - a stunning, old town that we found more beautiful, historic and peaceful than more famous places like Kyoto. We had a lovely stay at Asami's home. It was very conveniently located within Matsumoto, and a short walk away from an amazing Yakitori restaurant which our family visited on both nights! the house was clean and as expected!

This is a wonderful place to stay especially if you have a dog. It’s really modern and fully of windows to bring in the sunshine. The bath was really nice as well.

The apartment is perfectly clean & comfy and located about 50 metres from the closest chair lift. The lounge room & bedroom have huge windows looking out over the ski fields so you can sit in the warmth & watch the action before and after getting out there yourself. Iwatake is a great area to ski at with a brand new fast gondola and plenty of chair lifts. The host Daniel & his staff are really friendly and helpful so we really loved staying here & highly recommend to do so too if you get the chance! It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave!!

Dan is an excellent host and the place is as advertised. They went above and beyond for our stay by helping us with various things that enhanced our experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed in apartment C1 for 10 days. It was comfortable and had plenty of room. Kitchen was clean and good And everything in the apartment worked perfectly We had a car which made things easier as it’s almost impossible to get a cab anywhere

I love this place. Everything is perfect!! We stayed 2 nights there with 2 kids. Peter & Shiho’s place is wonderful for family stay. Location is good easy to find and getting around. We have cooked dinner at home once. Kitchen equipment and tableware is ready to use (only knife that not so sharp😅) When I shared this place on social media, any of friend asked and would to follow me to stay here. Peter is friendly and quite attentive to support he come to meet us twice. We would like to come back again ❤️

What a fantastic place and a wonderful host! Traveling from the US to Japan can be daunting. But Daniel gave us plenty of options and directions for getting from Tokyo to his place in Iwatake. He even arranged for a driver to pick us up from the bus station. During our trip he was always available for questions and recommendations. Also, his place is literally ski in/ski out. The closest lift was about 25 yards from the front door. The apartment was clean, modern, and well appointed. Overall, the apartment (along with the excellent hospitality from Daniel and his staff) made our trip easy and memorable. We’ll definitely go back!

We had a great stay at Alpine Chalets. The chalet was very cosy, well appointed and convenient to both slope shuttles (at front driveway and dining (lots of dining within 15 minute walk). Kevin was very responsive and very kindly offered to hold our luggage for a couple of hours after check out. I would definitely stay again.

This was by far the best experience we have ever had with an Airbnb. Made our holiday perfect and we are so appreciative of the accommodation he provided and the hospitality he displayed in every aspect. 10/10 Airbnb host
