Excellent house! 11 people with very good conditions. Lots of games, books, guitars and very comfortable. We'll be back! But we'll want to use the pool too. I recommend it 200%

We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

The house is ideal for two families... All the children wanted to sleep in the large room. The environment (Sheep, horses, stork) is very relaxing. The house served as a base for many excursions (ruta de las fortificaciones de frontera, puente de los franceses, siega verde) The host is a friendly character who shares his passion for animals. We'll be right back...

Sandra was really nice - she welcomed me even tho I messed a bit the time zones. She also took care of my dinner reservation and she communicates super fast . The furniture is old but the place is super clean. The house looks nice . Flowers all over and really a clean space . The village is charming but there’s not much to do

Juana, the host, was attentive to us before, during and after the stay. She welcomed us with produce from her garden and gave it to us again a few days later. Super cozy house and true to the photos, with a super spacious garden, which we didn't take advantage of due to bad weather. Highly recommended accommodation to which we would definitely return. Juana is undoubtedly a great host.

The house was amazing, it didn't lack a single detail. I must add that the photos don't do it justice, it looks much prettier when you're there. The garden is a treat, and especially when you travel with dogs, which is to be appreciated that they let you take them with you, it makes it much easier to travel with pets with accommodations like this. There's nothing wrong with it, it's been a pleasure to be there.

We have been very comfortable, if you're looking to spend a few quiet days it's a good place. The apartment was very clean and it is quite comfortable all its equipment, it is just as seen in the photos. The location is fine to move around the village or the mountain taking a walk and there are villages to visit nearby as well. Marimar is attentive to everything you need and responds quickly.

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

La casa de la Diquesa is a very charming accommodation, located in an area of great scenic and cultural interest. The owner is more than friendly, she is lovely. It helped us plan our stay and find us at home. I will recommend it to anyone who tells me they are going to the Douro Arrivals

We had a wonderful week at the house. Leti was very friendly, helpful and responded immediately to any issues/ queries. Our dog loved the stream! There were some great walks from the property and the village was lovely. Very peaceful with lovely views.

The space is extraordinary and the amenities are all present. lots of things to do or see nearby, and susana took the time to advise us on activities. finally sotoserrano will be greatly missed as well as susana which was a great meeting and who will remain in our hearts until next stay

Great place, beautiful views and fab swimming pool area

Super nice farm finca very private surrounded by nature and farm animals e.g. friendly horses. Host was very friendly too. The house is tastefully decorated and the pool and bbq area are top to relax and enjoy the sound of nature.

Imagine having a house with a pool, outside the city, in a quiet environment, where you can invite your friends to spend a weekend. They have everything, even a room full of toys for the little ones, a foosball table and a ping-pong table. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the kitchenware and appliances of a family home. It has many rooms, with a thousand and one beds available to guests. Everything is immaculately clean. A large living room, with wifi and Smart TV, where a display case houses wine, beer and cider glasses, where you can chat at the foot of an eternal table until the wee hours. Imagine a house like this, because this, no more and no less, this is what Delfín offers in his house in Villarmayor. A home for a weekend or for as long as you want. Your own home. That's how we felt, and we won't hesitate to return the four families who spent unforgettable days there. Thank you very much Delfín for everything. We had a perfect stay. Both Jose and his wife took care of us perfectly and fixed anything that could come up. The house is impressive and perfect for a large family like ours,with 4 children,with 4 children. Everything was in perfect condition and very clean. We'll be back for sure, and I highly recommend it.

We made a last-minute reservation for Maria's place using Airbnb on the day of our arrival. The process of receiving check-in instructions was a bit confusing, possibly because Airbnb might not be the primary booking platform for this accommodation. However, after a few phone calls, everything was sorted out. Once we arrived, we found the place to be absolutely delightful. It has been beautifully renovated and is nestled in the midst of nature. The package includes a fantastic breakfast, and for those hot days, there's a refreshing swimming pool available. One convenient feature is the option to charge your electric vehicle using a regular household cable. During our checkout, we had a chance to chat with Maria herself. She comes across as an extremely amiable host who genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're in search of a rustic getaway surrounded by nature, we highly recommend considering this destination.
