Great hotel in a wonderful place.

Great location with amazing overview of the landscape. Very good pool, local vibe with friendly and attentive staff. Our room was small but for one night stay perfect and the king size bed was superbly comfortable. Geraldo the owner has amazing stories to tell and quite the adventurer. Recommended 100% but be aware you most definitely need a car to get to and be ready to drive up a very very steep three turns to reach the parking spot. If you arrive at night it needs extra attention.

You. Must. Stay. Here. Clave Verde is gorgeous, affordable, chic, and most of all, ecologically sustainable. We stayed in the villa for a week for our daughter's spring break, and even though it rained a couple of the days, we were able to have an adventure every day. Noemi and Jonathon are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about all the local activities and amenities. They helped arrange a horseback ride to the Salto Limon waterfall for our family, which was no easy feat, given we had our four-year-old and six-year-old with us. They were incredibly responsive and available, but also gave us our space. The restaurant is great-- I could have eaten the beans and rice every day. The view is magnificent, and we woke every morning to the birds in their unofficial bird sanctuary. I would recommend to anyone looking for a restorative getaway, and will definitely be coming back.

I only stayed here for one night and I wish I could have stayed longer! The view from my room was so beautiful and peaceful! This place is great if you want to disconnect and spend some quiet time in nature. There were some amazing lizards that came into my room at night, it was a cool experience! I had a mosquito netting around my bed which was great! The room was very natural looking and clean. Felt like a wood cabin. The food at the restaurant was delicious but pretty expensive, I would recommend bringing some snacks. The host and his wife were very kind and they made me feel very comfortable. Very amazing and friendly people. I would definitely recommend this place!

The view of Los Haitises Park from our balcony was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. We booked our tours at the hotel and enjoyed ourselves greatly. The food is very good and the pools are very relaxing. Given its location, a little harder to get to but worth it.

What an incredible place! At the end of beautiful road surrounded by nature, is the hotel and its freshwater pools and terraces. The architecture is amazing and blends with rocks and plants. Leaf are imprinted in cement. The room is beautiful, with an amazing view of the national Park below. All was very clean, and magical. Super easy to communicate with the hosts who organized everything perfectly. We went for a day of Kayaking through mangroves and rocky cliffs. Our guide Jose was great! We will visit again soon!

the only thing we regret is that we only booked one night. the pictures don't do justice to the accommodation! We were overwhelmed by the complex. the pools were nice and appropriately integrated into the surroundings. the room was very large, clean and super nice. The place is very secluded, no noise from the city, but only the steady sound of the creek and tropical rain. There was a buffet for dinner, which is very balanced and delicious. various tours are offered in the Los Haitises park. We took the opportunity and made the 4h kayak tour and a birdwatching tour with José. I can warmly recommend the accommodation and the tour offer.

The hotel is well located, but as mentioned on the premises, they can't charge me a price of a stay in a normal hotel, when they are not. The price is not according to what they offer

Our stay at this eco-lodge was pure bliss! It's a beautiful space nestled in nature, teeming with wonderful flora and fauna. We loved watching turtles hang out in the pond and even spotted a crab scuttling around. The beach was indeed about a 5-minute walk away, and we cherished hearing the waves crashing in the distance on quiet mornings. Our bedroom was super cozy and calming, ensuring truly restful nights. The friendly staff provided great service, making our visit incredibly relaxing. We left feeling completely refreshed. Highly recommend for a tranquil escape!

What an adventure it was... totally in love with this place. Great food, nice dogs which are good with kids, lovely people and great atmosphere.

Casa El paraiso is a magical place, the room and common spaces are cared for in detail and integrated into the beautiful landscape in which they are located. Mirko, Italian like us, cooked us two delicious meat dinners and was super nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

We had the most incredible time at El Valle Lodge. We booked this stay last minute. Carolina was super quick to respond with directions and questions about our stay. The ride into El Valle Lodge is incredible, a perfect way to see the real Dominican and see how the locals live. We had the most amazing meals, smoothies and desserts prepared for us every morning and night including passion fruit cocktails that were delicious. The property is incredible and the room was perfect. We could hear the ocean at night along with all the other sounds of nature. Carolina also helped us plan excursions for whale watching and waterfall hikes. Which are both a must do while in Samana. I had the most amazing time at El Valle Lodge and plan to come back as soon as I can. I can't thank Carolina and her family enough for the most incredible time. This place is a must do and see while in Samana.

Very nice stay of 3 days the lunches are excellent and healthy/the dinners are excellent also very nice place to rest 5 minutes from the beautiful beach! I'll be back!
