Beautiful, peaceful stay. Woke up to the sounds of birds and breakfast. We arrived late at night and had dinner prepared for us. KP was friendly and a great host.

The team has done an extremely fantastic job in maintaining this resort/hotel clean and peaceful. This is the best accommodation I had experienced for the time I had in Samoeng for the past 11 days. I wish I had found them earlier. I manged to stay for three fantastic memorable nights and I can’t help myself to enjoy the beautiful scenery there and the great hospitality from Supansa and her husband, Mr Charin. They have very well spoken English and communication is never a problem. The common dining area is stocked up with instant noodles to curb your hunger and this shows you are in very good hands! I will will for sure 100% back to I AM HOME SAMOENG when I come back to Samoeng. Good job team! Well done! Keep up the fantastic work! I salute!

Our stay at Thinke's place was a great pleasure. Thinke is a very welcoming, caring woman who is committed to sharing the culture of her community. The house is very comfortable and very well furnished. The large terrace overlooks the rice fields on a haven of peace in the middle of nature. We were able to rest as a family, but also to experience Karen culture with respect. We met and were welcomed by Pen's family, her mother, her cousins, her little girl especially who live close by. We discovered the village, the weaving, the rice fields... We also took a trek into the forest to reach the growler grounds of her cousin. We lit a fire there and prepared the meal with the production found on site. Pen and his cousin introduced us to traditional cuisine and we had hearty and delicious meals. We also discovered the elephants that Karen locals roam in the forest. An animal-friendly family that explained a lot about them after searching for them in the forest. Care, swimming in the river with them, a memorable moment. Even if the village is quite remote, the access is simple, even with public transport. Pensee picked us up at the yellow songthaew stop from Chiang Mai. An unforgettable stay with Think and their family. Our stay at Pensee's Homestay was a great pleasure. Highly recommend Krataes place. Lovely spot if you want to get into the rural mountain scenery. Kratae is super friendly and so helpful. The village is great with lots of good food options and friendly locals!
