90 minutes from the GW Bridge, the house is set on over 4 acres of beautiful wooded grounds in Cragsmoor, a hamlet in Pine Bush. Close to Sam's Point and Bear Hill Reserve for great hiking. You’ll love it because of the deck, the open floor plan, the light, and the comfy beds. Great getaway home for couples, families (with older kids), and big groups.
“We spent a few weeks at Lisa’s place which was very relaxing and comfortable. The main floor gives onto a a large deck with lots of comfortable outdoor furniture and a modern grill. We spent plenty of times outside just enjoying being surrounded by the Forrest. The house has a small lawn around the house and is surrounded by enough woods that we had a lot of privacy. Even though the bear hill trail was closed due to COVID, we were able to walk around the hamlet of Cragsmoor and see a lot of wild animals (Sam’s point was close by too but not good for us with a baby). There are a lot of groceries store within 30mim radius with pickup which made the trip very safe. The house is really comfortable with an open space layout and a little kitchen nook that we loved using for meals. The kitchen was well appointed and very pleasant to cook in and we used the fire pit outside to make some s’mores. The master bathroom is really large, brand new and my daughters loved using it. I would definitely go back, thank you Lisa for having us!”

“Richard's place is an amazing getaway. Only an hour and a half from NYC, but once you get there you are truly surrounded by nature. The pictures don't even do it justice - the pool house is surrounded by acres of beautiful woods. I expected a more suburban feel, but it's more like a private getaway in nature. The outdoor living room is amazing for evening fires, and the visits from Chewey and the other dogs were a huge plus! The bed is comfy, sheets were super soft, and everything was very clean. The hosts were incredibly responsive, and we had an amazing stay.”

“David was incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home throughout our stay. The view is simply spectacular, and we enjoyed long afternoons on the hammock and evenings with BBQs and fires. The grounds are stunning, as is the house. Every detail is thoughtful and a delight to experience, from the spacious and impeccably clean shower and bathroom to the gorgeous living space, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We felt totally safe and socially distanced, and particularly appreciated the ease of check in and check out, as well as David's generosity in allowing us to stay a few additional hours on the last day. We hope to be back soon!”
