The place was perfect—just as described! It’s an ideal getaway for a quick family escape from Bangkok. The house is beautifully designed, and if you love traditional Thai architecture with stunning antique furniture, this is the perfect spot. The pool and garden were lovely, and it’s only about 10 minutes from Amphawa Floating Market. Highly recommended! The host was also very nice, with easy and smooth communication.

Very nice little villa. Comfortable bed & pillows. Clean neat. Perfect to relax in this house. Great pool. Quiet and cozy. Good contact with the landlord. Close to Maeklong railway market. GRAB doesn't work here, BOLT works better.

Somchai's Resort is set in a little paradise. In the middle of a coconut tree plantation. Simply fantastic. The whole resort is well maintained, beautifully planted. The rooms clean and very cozy. The air conditioning works great. The staff is very nice and helps right away. Somchai is a great host. You won't get so much warmth and attention anywhere else. A fresh breakfast awaited us every morning. There were mangos in the garden that we received as a gift. All questions were answered immediately. He gave us many tips for our stay. We booked the Airbnb of Dang because we wanted to visit the famous Maeklong Railway Market. We arrived at night, and although the house was a bit remote, we found the location easily. We hadn’t eaten anything yet, so the caretaker kindly jumped on her scooter to bring us groceries and a hot dinner — such a thoughtful gesture! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. In the morning, we woke up to a beautiful surprise: a charming traditional Thai home with its own little canal. They even arranged a tuk-tuk for us to explore the area all day. Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Lamp U House Amphawa. The host was incredibly kind and always available for communication, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. The accommodation itself was stylish, artistic, and full of unique character—every detail was thoughtfully designed. It’s a peaceful and inspiring place to relax. The value for what you get is exceptional. I highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Amphawa and would love to return again in the future!

Very impressed from the welcome by bringing a small boat to pick us up at the house. The owner of the house welcomed us very well. The surrounding atmosphere is very peaceful and cozy. Sitting in front of the house next to the river. Enjoy the nature at night. You can watch the fireflies from the front of the porch. The place was spotless. There was a big kitchen for us to cook. The breakfast that the landlord prepared for us was also very good. We feel so in love with the house if we have the chance to come back!:)

This is our second time at PapaHouse229. We even reorganized our stay in Thailand to be able to come back because we had kept a very good memory! Again, we were hosted very well. 😊 Everything was perfect! The service offered is excellent: fresh water was waiting for us in the refrigerator and the host, as for the first time, provided us with snacks. This is the accommodation to take absolutely if you want to spend a few days at the Floating Market in Amphawa: it is a very quiet market during the day and very lively at night. We were able to attend a concert of local popular singers. Very nice atmosphere! Thanks 🙏🏽 We'll be back! Sure!
