Holiday rentals with lake access in San Carlos

El lugar es genial, justo para descansar y desconectarse. La atención del personal es buenísima y en especial la de la señora Nohelia y su hija, siempre estuvieron muy atentas a lo que pudieramos necesitar, un agradecimiento especial para ellas.

Casa Colibrí was absolutely peaceful and unforgettable! This lake house in Guatapé has been hands down our favorite stay. The views of the lake were beautiful and swimming in the lake from the dock was a highlight for us and our 2 year old son. Along with Mona the dog, the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. We were there in rainy season, which was mostly sunny every day with rain in the evenings. So if you’re wondering whether you should come in rainy season, you should! The house itself was cozy, spotless, and fully stocked for a relaxing getaway. The artistic touches make the home one of a kind. We were especially appreciative of the recommendations from our host—we received massages at the house and took an amazing boat ride. Even though it’s tucked away in nature, it was surprisingly easy to get around, with quick access to the town and the famous Piedra del Peñol via motochiva. If you’re looking for a place to experience tranquility, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The floorplan is amazing as every room goes out to the terrace and has a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you could need and there are thoughtful touches throughout the house like a Bluetooth speaker and powerful extension cords to make it easy to charge all your devices. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, friendly and responsive.

Second time we stay in this beautiful and peaceful place, this time we decided to rent a car and was the best decision ever. We already knew the area, so we could drive around with no issues. The only problem with a place like this is that if they close a road (like it happened to us) you need to take a longer drive to get to the main road. But even though, we loved it and it helped us to know the area better. We enjoyed every second of the trip and the amazing view it had. Ms. Valentina and Ms. Yuliana were always very attentive and responsive with any need or demands we had. Just go and enjoy the experience 'de el campo' 💙 If I could live there I WOULD ☺️❤️

Excelente alojamiento, te desconectas de la cotidianidad, pego a la vez esta muy cerca del pueblo de guatape donde turísticamente te brinda demasiadas experiencias. Un lujo!

Fue muy agradable nuestra estancia, el chalet comodo y limpio, los anfitriones siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos, volveríamos sin duda.

Nous avons adoré ce logement. Parfaitement situé à 10 minutes du centre de guatapé! Si jamais vous avez besoin d’une consignes à bagages, celle-ci n’est pas disponible dans l’hébergement mais vous pouvez le demander au terminus d’autobus ! Je recommande !!

Great spot , jaccuzi + great view , couldn’t ask for anything else , everything is perfect , communication was great , quick responses from Jonathan , very quick walk to the center of guatape , no complains , everything 10/10 , I was only here originally for 2 days , after a relaxing peaceful time , I had to extend my time 3 more days , if you like peace I recommend 100% , in my opinion I liked the area more than in Medellin .

What an amazing stay! Guatape is so worth more than a day trip; it is the loveliest town I have been to in all my travels and Camila's is the perfect place to stay and explore all the town and surrounding area has to offer. We stayed four nights and wish it we could have stayed longer! Camila was kind and super responsive. We felt cared for and everything in Guatape is accessible by walking with plenty of transportation options for exploring further afeild of for those with mobility challenges. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! 😍🙏🏽

un alojamiento espectacular! las fotos no le hacen justicia, es muchísimo mejor!! espacios súper amplios, agradables, un balcón muy grande en el que pudimos hacer asado. las camas limpias, muy cómodas, las cobijas deliciosas. la cocina tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar. sin lugar a dudas volveremos. los anfitriones estuvieron muy atentos y fueron muy amigables con todo lo que necesitamos.

La casa es hermosa , todo extremadamente limpio y aseado , la propiedad está en excelentes condiciones , la limpieza y el orden hacen una estancia cómoda y placentera , muy recomendada la propiedad y el anfitrión siempre dispuesto a ayudar , sin duda volveremos !!

Lovely quiet finca about a half hour walk from the town of Guatape. We had a nice and peaceful time here, waking up to the sound of exotic birds every morning. We got to see fireflies at night! The couple co-hosting the finca were friendly and helpful. They diligently cleaned the patios and the jacuzzi area every morning. The kids absolutely loved the trampoline and play area in the garden. Definitely recommend this finca for families seeking some quiet time, while also exploring Guatape and surroundings.

Tuve una maravillosa experiencia en el alojamiento de Juan Guillermo. Desde el inicio, la comunicación fue muy fluida y amable. La propiedad estaba bien equipada y con una vista increíble de Guatapé y su famoso embalse. La ubicación era perfecta para explorar el pueblo y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del entorno. Juan Guillermo fue muy atento y estuvo siempre dispuesto a ayudar, lo que hizo que mi estancia fuera aún más agradable. Sin duda, recomendaría su hospedaje a cualquiera que visite Guatapé y busque comodidad y buen servicio. ¡Gracias, Juan Guillermo, por una experiencia memorable!

Es un lugar hermoso y muy agradable, mi familia y yo nos sentimos como en casa. Lo mejor es la vista y los paisajes … tener la represa de Guatapé alrededor de la casa fue mágico.

Great place for a big group of friends or family! They were very helpful with recommendations and helped us plan last minute water activities. They were very accommodating! Only recommendations are to get knives sharpened and mattresses are too hard. Other than that the place is amazing! We arrived and the hot tub was on and clean! I will stay there again!

Possibly the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. Came with a group of 6 friends for 5 nights and we were all blown away by the home, the location, town and the service from Elena. This place is unique and special — more homey than most places you will find, but still very spacious and luxurious. Internet connection was also strong enough for me to work remotely, including video meetings, which is hard to find outside of a city! I hope to return with my family and friends soon!

Excelente estadía! Sin duda volvería a hospedarme en La Ceiba. Mi familia y yo quedamos contentos con el lugar, la ubicación y la amabilidad de Paula. Recomendado 100%, no lo duden. Además, es un privilegio estar tan cerca de la piedra del Peñol. Excelente estadía.

Se trata de un bella y tranquila cabaña que hace parte de una finca ubicada en un lugar privilegiado de la zona rural de San Vicente Ferrer. Llegué junto a mi pareja en un chivero (carro particular) que contratamos fácilmente en la zona urbana y tardó 10-15 minutos en llevarnos. Gustavo y su esposa nos trataron con suma gentileza y generosidad. El espacio está cuidadosamente decorado y acondicionado. Se encuentra en medio de un lindo paisaje verde, con acceso a un pequeño lago y a un río la cual se puede ir caminando por una vía interior. Volvería y lo recomiendo sin dudarlo!
