The space is a duplex and does share a yard with the back unit. The bedroom has a new premium memory foam Queen mattress while the living room sofa coverts to a Full-size bed. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo with separate vanity area. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances: refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender & coffeemaker. The living area sofa is roomy enough for everyone to sit and enjoy watching the large-screen cable TV. There is a brand new patio seating area with new modern wood fencing and a barbecue right outside to grill your dinner while taking in peek ocean/sunset views. You will have total access to this exceptionally equipped home. The fully fenced front yard is perfect for small children and family to enjoy! There are boogie boards, surfboards, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and a wagon to pull it all when you walk down the hill for a relaxing day at the beach. There's also off-street parking reserved for one car. Bring your suitcase, buy some groceries and you are all set to enjoy it all! The home is just two short blocks from Ave. Del Mar in downtown village of San Clemente with its Sunday farmers' market, shops, restaurants, library, and post office. It's also a short walk to the family-friendly Linda Lane park, beach and the pier. You can walk to almost anywhere! The beach, the park, the pier, train, restaurants, shopping, coffee houses...you name it, are all a short stroll away. A free Trolley operates Wednesday through Sunday (May 30-Labor Day) from the downtown area to North Beach and the new San Clemente Outlets. One of the great things about San Clemente is its location half-way (approx. one hour drive) between San Diego and Los Angeles. Legoland is 30 min drive south and Disneyland is a 45 min. drive north. It's also a short drive to John Wayne Airport, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach. Dana Point Harbor and San Juan Capistrano are 10 minutes away! San Clemente hosts several festivals and events. There are free Beach Concerts on the sand next to the pier several Thursdays throughout the summer. July 4th celebrations include a huge fireworks display from the pier at 9pm. July 21-22 is the 40th annual Ocean Festival at the pier featuring all sorts of beach competitions, a sand sculpture contest, art show, woody car show, a beach concert & much more! August 12 is the San Clemente Fiesta Music Festival. Three stages downtown, along Ave. Del Mar, offer non-stop music and dance entertainment joined by food and game booths, contests, a salsa challenge, arts and craft show, children's rides, exhibits, clowns and more! August 18-19 is the 57th annual San Clemente Art Craft Fair at the Community Center featuring more than 100 artists displaying their original creations. December 1 from 6-10 pm "Putting on the Glitz" - This event is one of San Clemente’s finest--an opportunity to experience our “village character”. Enjoy an evening of shopping, dining & local entertainment; including a visit with Santa Claus, holiday carolers, roasted chestnuts, and many more holiday treats.
