Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Francisco, Ibaiondo

What a wonderful stay we had in your beautiful home! There was everything we needed including a fabulous shower with good water pressure and tons of hot water. It was like having a home away from home. We stayed for 5 weeks and explored the entire Basque region by car, from Santander to Burgos to Pamplona to San Sebastian and Bearritz/Bayonne. This home is centrally located and Berango itself offers a nice small town neighborhood feeling. The metro is close by but we found driving into Bilbao more convenient. It's also close to some fine beaches. Garbiña is a terrific host -- very friendly, funny and caring. We hope to return again.

Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Teresa nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Unterkunft war genauso, wie in der Beschreibung – wenn nicht sogar noch schöner. Alles war blitzsauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Gastfreundschaft: Teresa hat immer zügig geantwortet und den Check-in super unkompliziert gestaltet. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und rundum wohlgefühlt. Vielen Dank für diesen großartigen Aufenthalt – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

Lourdes a été très accueillante et sympathique, logement spacieux pour notre groupe de 18 personnes. Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bains ce qui est très pratique quand on est nombreux. La maison est très bien située. Seul bémol mais pour lequel Lourdes n'est pas responsable les aboiements des chiens du voisinage jusque tard dans la nuit. Nous avons passé un super séjour ! Merci !

Estupendo lugar y estupendo ambiente. Si quieres desconectar y vivir la cultura de la madera y de la eficiancia energética y otros valores en alza, este es un lugar inclreible. Un 10, todos vuelven por lo que hemos visto esos días. Gracias

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

Estoy valorando Bilbao. Te parece este texto? Amplio, bien situado, limpio,.. algo escaso de mobiliario salón (solo sofá sin sillones) y faltan utensilios de cocina para cocinar para seis personas (cubertería y loza solo para seis). Un perchero vendría bien para abrigos.

We are astounded at the level of service and attention to detail Victoria and her team provided us, which ensured an amazing stay and a wonderful experience of Bilboa. From the treats and water left on arrival, to the helpful advice and tips 24/7 and thoughtful touches - we loved staying here. Finally, the apartment is stunning, very spacious and in a wonderful location. We also now rate this apartment and Victoria five stars and would highly recommend to anyone. Enjoy 😊

A nossa hospedagem foi maravilhosa! A localização era bem estratégica, podendo ir caminhando para a cidade, mas também tinha ponto de ônibus e metrô por perto. Além disso, o apartamento é impecável, com bastante espaço, limpo, organizado, utilitários essenciais para nossa estadia. Voltaria mais uma vez! O Juan também foi muito solicito e gentil, desde o momento da reserva e durante a estadia. No checkin, nos explicou sobre a cidade, deu sugestões para comer os pintxos, e muito mais. Foi muito mais leve a nossa estadia, com um host muito prestativo. Recomendo o apartamento!!!!

Luis is een zeer vriendelijke, gastvrije en behulpzame host. Het appartement is heel smaakvol ingericht op een perfecte locatie. Een absolute aanrader!!! De communicatie verliep vlekkeloos.

Javier and Jolanda have a great place. The neighborhood is not central but it’s nicely situated in the next to a beautiful park, the river, and a stunning green hill, visible from the balcony. Javier was very kind to us, very talkative and nice in messaging, he left an impression of an old friend that left us his apartment. I can definitely recommend this place to stay.

An amazing flat in a cool, highly walkable to everything location. High end shopping all around, and really great food options everywhere. Place is pristine, luxurious, big, well equipped, and such a good value. The hosts were quick to respond, accommodating, and kind. I'd a absolutely look to stay again.

1st floor two bed apartment very well located for Bilbao old town. Guadalupe met us for check-in ( which is rare these days) was very friendly and showed us around. The apartment was fully stocked with everything you could need. Older style interior but everything worked.

Fantastic apartment, walking distance from renfe, where the rental cars are. Walking distance to river, old town for restaurants, and easy to get to Guggenheim. For runners easy to get to river with paved exercise path—amazing!

Jurdan fue muy flexible y clara desde el inicio, su departamento está muy bien ubicado, queda en una calle de muchos bares, pero el ruido no llegaba hasta el departamento. Las camas son muy cómodas y el baño también.

Ana was incredibly helpful and responsive, the property was immaculately clean with everything we needed. You can either walk or use the nearby train station to go to the old town for some pinxos! Would stay here again, thank you Ana :)

Great location in old town. The apartment is very spacious and had all amenities. Everything you need is a walk away. Highly recommend. Check in was a little complicated. I would recommend using Apple Maps to go to the actual address provided. Something about using google maps did not work. As long as host provides pictures it’s easy to find.

Great location in the old town. Street to front of the building a bit noisy on weekend nights. 3 bedrooms to the rear are very quiet. Walking to a big selection of restaurants only takes minutes. Javier was very helpful & answered promptly for a few queries. Overall very pleased & would definitely recommend to friends & family.

Mercedes is super friendly, she met us and provided an overview of the apartment and area. The apartment was perfect for us, spotlessly clean and it had everything we required to for our stay. There is a supermarket just behind the apartment block, restaurants, bars etc a well established community. We were touring and the secure private parking is great. Location is perfect for exploring the coast and the nearby metro, less than 5 mins walk, makes it easy to explore Bilbao without driving.

Maria’s place was exactly as described. Quiet, peaceful, and much larger than the photos. Everything was in perfect condition. The apartment is a very quiet residential area but a 3 minute walk to the train. Maria and her husband were great hosts, very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for things to do in the area. I also had accidentally left some things at the Airbnb and worked with them to get them back, which was super appreciated. Would absolutely book here again not only for the pristine apartment but for the friendliness of the host!
