The villas were perfect for our family to have space and spend quality time together. Everything was very close and easy to find. The pools were very relaxing and perfect for bird watching.

We stayed in Las Haciendas Villa #4 and had a wonderful time with our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 teens.) Customer service by Laura and Leda were superb. They were very communicative, accommodating, and responded to us Airbnb Messages within 20 minutes and in within 5 minutes in-person when we had a request on site. Check-in and getting into/out of the courtyard gate and the unit itself were very easy. The kitchen was well-stocked with all food prep and cooking utensils, along with a 5 gallon container of purified water that we used to refill our water bottles throughout our stay. Had we known that was available, we would have not bought the cases of water at New Flags Market. The bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine. I'm very picky when it comes to cleanliness and I felt at peace in this villa. The beds (2 queens in 1 room, 1 king in the other) were comfortable, the decor modern and stylish, and the rooftop pool was clean and offered a great view of the city to relax in the evenings!

Our family had a great stay at Vanilla Hills. Claudia was so helpful in booking excursions and transportation. We didn’t rent a car and found it easy to get taxis to and from the resort into town. The restaurant was amazing and the staff was very accommodating with our 5 year old daughters special menu requests. We loved the tranquility and would definitely stay here again if we return to San Ignacio.

WOW!! If you’ve come across Jay’s place all I can say is “just book it!” The pictures don’t do it justice, this place is paradise on earth. We brought our family of six and enjoyed everything the Sanctuary had to offer. Jay is a 5 star host and walked us through every question we had! He was easily accessible and his staff were lovely! If you’re an avid kayaker, I would highly recommend asking Jay about his route down the Mopan River. It’s definitely not a beginner ride, but we made memories that we will never forget!!! We booked it for the water slide initially, but we got SO much more!! The local town is incredible. Friendly locals and great food. The Mayan temples are close by and a one of a kind experience. If you’re looking for authentic Belize and adventure this is your spot!

This place is so beautiful with lots of space for a big group and amazing views! A walkable cave and waterfall is a must if you stay in the area!!

We absolutely loved Las Haciendas. My family of 12 rented the entire compound, and everyone had plenty of space. The team there was always responsive and helpful day or night. You could always contact them for help with taxis, food delivery, and questions. Replies were back in minutes. They were also a massive help in setting up all our group's activities during our stay. The tour operators were all great. All units were decorated to a high standard. There was a beautiful view from the 2-bedroom units top floor pool areas. The area is not really walkable to anything except a local grocery store. However, the ease of getting taxis mitigated that issue. We would stay again.

This little blue house sits right in the jungle. Slightly from the rest of the lodge cabanas by the veggie garden and only few steps to the swimming pool. It feels very private, peaceful simple and comfortable. From its terrace u can observe surrounding nature while sipping a tea. U can decide to cook for ureself or explore the restaurant menus. The lodge offers a spa, a sauna, plenty of games ond can arrange any tour y may think of and there is a lot of amaz g sites to visit around such as rio on pools, big rock, etc. They truly take care of you as if u were their best friends visiting and we felt right at home at Mariposa. We came with a family of friends from Placencia and as always enjoy the beauty of the place, the kindness of the staff and the delicious meals ! We keep returning here any time we go to Cayo.

Peace. That’s the feeling I had when I arrived here. In fact, I got emotional when we pulled up because the whole property took my breath away. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Catherine was so kind and such a pleasure to communicate with.

Our visit to belize couldn’t have been more perfect due to kaylyyns place. We were blown away on how beautiful it was. It was the perfect location for us about 30 mins away from belmopan and 5 mins to spanish lookouts restaurants and market. The location was well taken care and breath taking with natural beauty. The home is well taken care of and most importantly to us CLEAN. Everything you can imagine is at your finger tips. She even had purified water for us upon arrival and was refilled a week later. She was super responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking to rent in this area don’t look any further you won’t be disappointed. We will 100% be recommending her home to our family and friends as we were only about 20 mins away from our family in belize.

A little tricky to find - it was actually not where the GPS sent us, but rather about a quarter mile down the road up a hill. Once we arrived, though, it was easy to get in and the place was beautiful! Laundry is great, lots of space to stretch out, and the backyard was great for birdsong. Lots of dogs barking at all hours and some roosters

Maddiely was a wonderful host. She was very responsive. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The yard is beautiful and the clothesline was perfect for hanging wet clothes after our ATM tour. The only thing to note is that the neighbors have roosters that crow through the night. We felt right at home with the locals.

The Macal home was quiet , private and peaceful right outside of town. My son loved the little dogs Cookie and Oreo on the property and often sat outside with them. The home had everything we needed during our stay to cook meals and relax at home. Some small additions like board games when it rained or reading lamps in the bedrooms would have been nice but not a big issue. What made our stay absolutely amazing was our wonderful host Corrina. She was always responsive whenever I messaged her and suggested tons of activities to do with my kids. Her directions to the place and suggestions of places to stop in for groceries was nice. I would definitely rent from her again!

We had a great stay, was one of the best looking places in San Ignacio and even then exceeded expectations. The rooms were the cleanest we found in 10 days in Belize and the back porch/hammock area was a great communal space.

My group and I went on a tour prior to arriving at this Airbnb & we LOVED that the AC was on upon entering. Otherwise, we would have been sweating until the place cooled off, since it’s so hot here in Belize. It is SPACIOUS & very CUTE looking. This place has everything we needed: AC, WiFi , refrigerator & (2) two bathrooms! We loved that we were able to have a movie night thanks to the TV in the living room. The place is near downtown San Ignacio, so we were able to eat, shop, & do karaoke with the locals! The only issues we encountered were that some taxi drivers do not know where this place is, BUT the Airbnb did provide coordinates to the location, SO we figured it out & that there was a gecko crawling on the wall when I was sleeping, BUT I think I scared him bc he crawled away from me when I put my flashlight on him and I couldn’t find him anymore when I turned on the lights of the room, SO I just went back to sleep. I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Great host communication!

I did not want to leave this place! The property is so beautifully situated in the jungle, you can hear birds, monkeys and other wild lives all day long. We ate breakfast on the property everyday, what’s better than sipping your coffee and staring into all the lushness surrounding you and the pretty birds every morning. Claudia is super helpful providing us with all the information we need to know about the area and coordinating/suggesting things to do. Also the Infinity pool is a amazing, wish we had spent more time there. If it is your first time in SI, don’t get discouraged by the short bumpy road getting there, it is very well worth it, you won’t regret it.

The pictures don't really do this place justice. We were all blown away by the beauty of the river flowing by, as well as the charm of the bedrooms and common spaces. While we were a little uncertain about how things operate (since we found it on Airbnb, we were thinking more traditional house than hotel, but it is a small hotel that we privatized with our large group), those concerns quickly vanished when I spoke ahead of time about what to expect. When one of our members became extremely sick with a migraine, the staff did such a caring job of helping out with whatever he needed. The food was outstanding! We even had several dietary restrictions in our group (severe nut allergy, gluten/dairy intolerant, vegetarian) and they still made delicious meals. The location was just perfect - off the beaten path but close to the places we wanted to go. Everyone was extremely friendly and looked for ways to help out. We all loved it!

We enjoyed our stay. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were as described. It was a nice location with a quick walk to everything in town and we were picked up at the front for our excursions. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. They provided drinking water in the room. We enjoyed the use of the pool and bar area as well and the resident cats. We would definitely stay again. The only negative was the on and off internet but this was true of other places we stayed in Belize as well.

The location of this house is amazing, with views forever across the plain below. Ms Ellajean was extremely helpful and responsive, going well above and beyond any expectations. Air conditioning could keep up to us heat-wimpy Canadians. Local dogs were very very friendly, there were birds, geckos, and iguanas to watch. The kitchen is actually useable even for our large family. The pool is small but sufficient to cool off as required. For the price, this place is amazing!

Great homie feeling and not over the top. Easy to communicate and great for a getaway with friends or family.

The place was super clean and nice, just a little tricky to find, but the listing gave us a heads-up, so no big deal. Fair warning: there are lots of dogs in the area. You might get a little nighttime doggy symphony, but nothing a good pair of earplugs can’t fix. Overall, we had a great time. It would’ve been perfect with a washer and dryer, but they do have a hand-washing station out back, which was actually kind of fun to use. Felt like going old-school for a bit.
