Due to its geographical location, El Refugio is located in the heart of the cider region, just 7 km from downtown Villaviciosa, 15 km from Rodiles beach and 35 km from the Covadonga Lakes and very close to fishing villages such as Tazones, Lastres, Cudillero, Luanco and Candás. In the area there are several routes for walking or if you prefer by bicycle alone or with family.

Public transportation is available 25 meters from the apartment, connecting the cities between Avilés and Piedras Blancas, passing through Salinas.
