Luxury, tranquility, stunning natural beauty.... Tropical plants and fruit trees surround this impressive villa overlooking a private swimming cove, where 70-foot cliffs plunge into clear water and frame spectacular volcano views. Steam in the sauna, paddle the SUPs/kayaks, soak in the outdoor tub, or have a brick-oven pizza picnic on the lawn. Outdoor spaces abound for sunning, relaxing, al fresco dining and taking in the wonderful views. Enjoy Lake Atitlan living at its very best.
“We just did not have enough time here! We came with 7 adults for 4 nights for my husband and I to exchange vows, and everything was absolutely perfect. The house and grounds are beautiful and being tucked in a little cove makes it feel so private. - There was more than enough space for us all to stay comfortably. There were nice little extra touches like fresh flowers and a binder with tons of local recommendations. We also made good use of the sauna, pizza oven, and paddle boards. We ordered the pizza packs and wished we would have ordered more because they were SO delicious. We also had a private chef for dinner and for breakfast and the food was excellent - their french toast was my favorite ever. Erynne made all the planning so simple. She helped us arrange transfers for our group even though we were coming and going at separate times, made lots of recommendations ahead of time, and was super responsive. The groundskeeper was also very kind and helpful. I could go on and on, but we loved every minute of it and are already looking for good excuses to go back!”
This delightful cottage nestles you among fruit trees and aromatic herbs. The breathtaking view of Lake Atitlan is seen from every window. It is quiet, safe, and close to San Marcos. It is also Eco friendly, off the grid, and has pristine lake front with private beach and spacious private dock area. Strategically located, it's very easy to go to and from close by villages using public water transportation. Walking to San Marcos is good with no bags.
“Our stay with Luzmi was something really special. The Eco cottage was more breathtaking than the photos show with a beautiful view of Lake Atitlan. The cottage naturally stays cool with lots of windows to facilitate a gorgeous cross-breeze to create easy temperature control. The lake was gorgeous to swim in (try to go before 11:30am to beat the wind and waves) and there are small cliffs nearby that you can jump off of into the water. With the mountains and volcanoes across the lake, the experience really was unbeatable. Luzmi was quick to show us the path to San Marcos, offer information on local markets, help us coordinate transportation to and from the Airbnb, and offered to place produce orders through other locals on our behalf. All of the information provided online is accurate; I recommend giving it a good read-through before booking. The property is not ideal for those with mobility issues, and you can count on some critters (mostly spiders) visiting during the nighttime. Luckily, they mostly hang out in the bathroom and hide out again during the daytime. They're completely harmless, and add to the outdoorsy vibe of the cottage. During our stay, we were unlucky enough to get trapped in Guatemala with the border closure due to COVID-19. Luzmi was absolutely incredible in keeping us updated with any information she received, talked through our options with us, and allowed us to extend our stay for as long as needed until we could return home. Her kind gestures really went a long way in helping us feel safe, at ease, and cared for. She truly treated us like family. Our experience went above and beyond our expectations, and despite the stress of being abroad during a global pandemic, we felt really at home. We cannot stress enough the beauty of this place along with the high quality of service which we received. Don't pass up this little piece of paradise, I promise you will love it!!”

“Staying with Josias, Esmeralda and their family was one of the best experiences I had with Airbnb, in a short time I could really feel like part of their family, having great conversations with them and playing with the kids. There is a lot in this place I liked beyond the hospitality they offer. The room was really really comfortable, very comfy, clean and has this nature vibe. The house is big and stays in front of a little farm, the view from their door waking up in the morning made me want to stay there for a lot longer. A walk to the port on sunrise cannot be underestimated, it’s amazing and hosts the place I took the best photos in Guatemala, the lake turns into a mirror because it’s far from all the movement you see in San Pedro. Everybody greets you with a smile and buenos dias when you cross them in the streets. I cannot forget to comment on the food, almost everyday I would wait until after lunch to go out exploring because in their home I always had the best meals in Guatemala, with that special home made touch from Esmeralda. Overall I am very grateful for their hospitality and for the experience I had with them. Guatemala at night past midnight might seem a bit empty and scary but to be honest the scariest things I saw were just dogs barking a little too much at night lolol. I am definitely wanna be with them again when I am back in San Juan.”
