“Excellent apartment, well lit, parking to spare and in very good condition, well located, a few blocks from the central park, and therefore, with several options for purchase, food, and other options that you think, I definitely recommend it.”
The room is decorated with textiles of the region, hand embroidered pillows and the decoration of the paintings, the public transport can be taken in the corner, also is very close to the center and to 5 min will find pharmacy and several shops, is a very central area Perfect for an adventurous couple. Attractions: Tacaná Volcano, Juarez Union, Coffee route, Chocolate route and 40 min from Puerto Chiapas and Playa Linda. The Guatemalan border is also a 10-minute walk away.
“Francisco's parents, Marco and Evangelina, are fantastic hosts, nice and kind people, who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. They shared food, their home-made cafe liqueur as well as delicious coffee from the region with us. They were also so kind and showed us around Santo Domingo and Union Juarez with the car and introduced us to a bunch of their friends which was incredible. The drive to the start point of the hike up to Volcano Tacana is just 40min away. The bed is by far the most comfortable bed I have slept in during my entire Central America travels. Marco and Evangelina also prepared a great breakfast for us. We really enjoyed their company and the place comes highly recommended.”
Would you like to travel on ecotourism into Chiapas, México? We promise you an unforgettable experience full of discoveries and local encounters! Your hosts will be Alejandro and Julie, a young visual arts couple. Julie is a French expatriate who fell in love with Mexico and its culture and Alejandro, a true “Tapachulteco.” They’ll take the time to share with you their everyday life and their knowledge of the local area and its culture.
“There are so many beautiful flowers, plants and trees everywhere. The garden is very well taken care of and you can drink fresh coconut's that fall from the tree. The large tree's provide a lot of shade which makes it cool for the summer heat. The property is very safe and enclosed by a wall from the small town. It is only a short walk to local stores that have drink, food and everyday essentials. The cabin itself is spacious and well designed. A screen door and screen window protect you from most misquotes and bugs. I would recommend bringing bug spray for spending time outdoors. The kitchen is small but cozy big enough to cook small meals. Carillo Puerto is a small town with very friendly people. There is no wi-fi at this time for the property but our cell phones worked great for our stay. Julie and Alejandro are really amazing artists and really sweet hosts. Highly recommended!”
