I am an American who purchased this ancient home in the heart of the village Crezancy-en-Sancerre. There is a restaurant/bar and butcher in the village. Close proximity to Sancerre ( 10 minutes by car) Two wine domaine’s within walking distance for degustation. You have your own apartment space located in a grand old home from the 1800’s that was once a bar-hotel. You also have shared garden space to relax. This is a new listing for me here so continually trying to improve any guests stay.

La Petite Vigne

A little gem set in a peaceful yet central part of Sancerre. Perfect for a couple wanting to explore the area and its famous wines, studying at the local language school, or the Loire in general. The historic town with its fine architecture, bars and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. Recently renovated old house and furnished to offer comfortable, well equipped accommodation. La Petite Vigne is tucked away in a quiet residential quarter with some lovely views of the vineyards.

Perfectly situated , 2km from Sancerre and 1 km fron Chavignol, an old house entirely renovated for 6 persons. Huge garden of more than 1200 m2 with a lot of fruit trees. Quiet of the countryside in the heart of a village and at the feet of vines. Garden furniture and barbecue. Huge kitchen with dining area upstairs. Master bedrrom with bathroom and office corner, second double room, and children room with two singles (2x 90 cm/ bedroom to go through to reach one of the double room).

You will have access to the garden, with deckchairs available and private use of the terrace at the water's edge without any vis-à-vis: unobstructed view of the countryside. We live in the terraced house. Bicycles can be made available.

The ground floor includes a living room with kitchenette and shower room. The room is on a mezzanine level. Enjoy the peace and quiet and greenery!

Thanks Patricia for a fabulous stay. The house is lovely - so pretty and has everything we needed. Thank you also for being so responsive about the shower enclosure door and for sending the plumber to fix it so quickly - we really appreciated it. We would definitely recommend. It's in easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops and wine tasting places - totally heavenly!

I was in Charlotte's place for 2 weeks, and the apartment is cute and well located to central Sancerre (up a 3-minute hill). The place was clean, exactly as described, and the host was very responsive. This was greatly appreciated the morning of my checkout when I had some problems with the washing machine (my fault, not the machine's), and Charlotte was able to get a friend to show up and help me at the last minute and fixed the issue! The ceiling fan on the second floor is a life saver with these summer heat waves, while the first floor seems to remain a consistently pleasant temperature. It's worth noting that the host does not provide linens by default - you may wish to read the listing closely. I reserved Charlotte's place for Coeur de France language classes . It's quite walkable to the school (4 minutes, uphill), very close to the new boulangerie, and even closer to a beautiful view of the sunset on the ramparts. Great location, great little place.

Picture perfect location in the gorgeous town of Sancerre! The home was quiet and comfortable and our host went out of his way to make sure we were able to get in easily and knew where to park. We would definitely stay again!
