“Extremely positive experience! I feel lucky we found this place in Svolvær at the end of our Lofoten trip. Lisbeth was very welcoming and thoughtful and practical in everything she did and in her communication with us. The place was nice and perfect for us since we wanted to relax before going back home. Situated right next to the fjord it had chairs and a table outside to eat a nice lunch when the sun was out among other things. We caught the bus to Evenes airport and she even came to drop the luggage for us at the center so that we didn't have to come back to the house to pickup our luggage (since we wanted to do a late check out and she had to prepare the place for the next guests) Can only recommend to blindly book the place if you see it available! Read no more!”
The cabin is situated on a beautiful spot in the Lofoten. Overlooking the sea and Mountains. Very private, nearest cabin is 150 meters away. Nearest town for shopping is 15 km. Car is necessary for transport. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1p1QXlLk9o
“Highly, highly recommended. Lovely & warm cabin in the middle of nowhere, great way to connect with incredible nature around. We were super lucky to see the Northern lights from the cabin and even spotted a red fox and herd of Moose while driving to the cabin. We didn't meet Rolf in person but he was very helpful. I'll be back again for sure.”
“We had a wonderful stay ate Anne Marie's apartment! This was our second "base of operations" during our trip to the Lofoten Islands and proved to be a great place to stay. It's very conveniently located in a quiet suburban neighbourhood, but very close to some great hikes and other places to visit. The apartment occupies the ground floor of a three-story house, with a great distribution and very well equipped. Anne Marie was very welcoming and gave us some great tips of things to do that you would not normally find in a guidebook (like picking wild blueberries from the bushes around the trails) and restaurants and supermarkets in town. The apartment is also very close to the road, so it doesn't take long to get going somewhere and right in the neighbourhood is a local travel agency offering kayaking and other water-sport possibilities (although we didn't make us of them because of the weather). The apartment has a nice and spacious living room and very well equipped kitchen, so we mostly prepared meals there. And because the apartment is on the ground floor and has a separate entrance, we didn't feel like we were invading her family's privacy at all. We would definitely recommend a stay there!”
