“First off all I can say is WOW! We originally booked for 4 nights but had to switch to 3 due to a change in plans, Thierry was kind enough to offer us an extra night at the end of our reservation but we weren’t able to due to plans and checked out late in the day instead, which was thoughtful in itself. Thierry’s place is nestled perfectly into the jungle. We had the chance to see monkeys, frogs, toucans and scorpions steps from our bed. The photos do not do this place justice! If you enjoy the sound of silence and pure nature during the night hours, this is the place. I have to note, we ran into some complicated car troubles and Thierry ran out to find a mechanic that was able to help us, and had the problem solved within an hour and a half at a VERY reasonable price (compared to anywhere in North America). We plan to visit Quepos in the future, and hope to stay with Thierry again. While he gives you the privacy, he is also promptly there to support you and answer any questions. The place was gorgeous and a peace of heaven as I would say. I highly recommended to stay here, other air bnbs won’t offer the same experience as this. Thank you again Thierry, your a very hospitable host & we hope to see you again (hopefully sooner than later).”

“We enjoyed our stay at Thierry’s very much. He furnished good coffee and fresh fruit. Such a treat! The space is a small, independent apartment in a larger house. Access is from a private stair case around the side of the house. There are two apartments on this level and when both parties are on back deck we can hear but not see each other. The deck backs right up to the forest. We saw butterflies, pacas, and a ton of monkeys. They go right by the house. We saw a green and black dart frog. Beautiful. Geckos. Toucans could be heard in the trees. Howler monkeys... amazing night noises and fireflies. It’s like a nature preserve. The apartment has screened doors and fans. It was warm during the day but cooled off at night. It was clean and there is plenty of hot water. The water is fine to drink. Small but functional and equipped kitchen. The house is a couple of miles outside of quepos and 15 minutes or so from manuel antonio. We had no trouble finding beaches, food, gas, or anything else. We went to Manual Antonio park and saw amazing wildlife. We went to rainmaker about 30 minutes away and enjoyed hiking and dips into the clear cold creek and pools. The people at rainmaker will cook you a typical lunch with amazing juice for an additional 7$. So good. Also went to Uvita beach area an hour away. And from there a boat trip to Cano Island which has water i would describe as electric blue. I would go back to Thierry’s place without hesitation. I would recommend it to anyone that doesn’t require staying in the middle of a tourist destination location. If you need to stay in the hub of tourist action find another place. But if you dont mind driving 15 minutes to amazing beaches and want to have monkeys come see what you are doing on the porch this is your place Thank you so much Thierry!”

“Martin's home is a treasure of Costa Rica, our spring break plans went from a couple of ideas to an amazing experience thanks to Martin himself. The space was astonishing and more than we could have ever asked for. Manuel Antonio is a beautiful city and this home is tucked away with privacy and an amazing view. The inside has all the amenities we needed and a little supermarket nearby. We would cook within the home with fresh fruits and eggs at the local market. The infinity pool is truly something else. Every night around 5PM we would wait for the small herd of monkeys that come flying through the trees, eating fruit within an arms reach away from the pool. All along with a beautiful west coast sunset every night. But now, the place goes from a 5 star home to a 5-star experience because of the wonderful host himself. Martin personally greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel welcome, he gave us a great tour and offered us some delicious refreshments. Immediately you can sense Martin's passion and excitement for his guests. The minute you book with Martin, he offers you several accommodations for experiences. Whether it is travel/food/activities, Martin has the hookup. We had all of our days unplanned and within a quick 2 minutes, Martin booked us for an amazing next day ATV adventure. Feeling so comfortable with Martin, we invited him to the beach with us and dinner where all the locals knew him and he showed us an unseen experience of the town. Our group will forever remember our trip and dedicate the amazing experience to the prince of Manuel Antonio, Martin.”
