House holiday rentals in Santee

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

Ann was a Amazing Host. Her home is beautiful and comfortable. The back yard Deck was nice & Pool looks inviting. Next time am in the area ill be checking in with Ann :) Thank you

Went there for my 40th birthday and made the best memories at Riley’s place! The pool was so refreshing. The layout of the house was fantastic! Plenty of space for all 9 of us. There are 3 full bathrooms, which was also perfect. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

We had an incredible stay at Miguel’s Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the pool – it was sparkling clean and well-maintained. Everything was exactly as described, and Miguel was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, private and hassle-free getaway!

Jessica’s home is beautiful and located in a lovely neighborhood that is close proximity to many things. We came to celebrate the graduation of my niece and Jessica’s home was a great place for the family to connect, rest between events and spend time together! Her home is beautifully appointed and was perfect for our stay. Jessica is a great host who communicates with her guests and is very responsive! Her home is filled with good energy and I would definitely book again! for future family events when visiting San Diego!

This was my first experience in an Airbnb and I could not have been more pleased. This home is clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a week-long stay! Some of the many highlights: Parking is dedicated and convenient. Kitchen well stocked with a full-sized fridge. There is so much room between the kitchen, living/bedroom and the bathroom/bathroom area! Recliners and bed were super comfortable. TV was easy to use and seemed to have a ton of channels, plus apps like YouTube. Water pressure in the shower was *fantastic* (also the shower head situated high on the wall, great for tall guests). Fast internet connection. Quiet neighborhood. I kept the windows and door open all day while I was there. Lovely patio with a table and large umbrella. Very nice and communicative owners! Most importantly, I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I feel lucky I had the opportunity to stay here and would 100% do so again!

This house perfect for us to attend my daughters graduation at El Capitan HS. Access to anything you could possibly need groceries, coffee, restaurants and take out options abound. It is about 20-25 minutes if you are looking to access the beach and attractions. If I need a place to stay for a group in East County Mariah’s house will be the spot. Thanks!!

This was one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had both my guest and myself. Nice quiet area & easy access to the property & grateful for the parking space Smitty offers!! It was a safe and quiet neighborhood. The host communicated quickly and effectively. Many amenities are provided as mentioned. Great place!

The house was private, quiet, new, and attractive, and everything was fully functional. It was perfectly situated in downtown Poway, but nevertheless quiet and private. The a/c units in the ceiling worked fabulously and quickly. Talissa was extremely responsive -- every request we made for replenishment of supplies was complied with within hours, if not minutes. I couldn't have asked for anything more, and I'll return next time I'm in town.

Shannon and Gabriel were such amazing hosts. We first booked a different place on Vrbo and found out it was double booked when we got there around 8pm. We went on Airbnb and found Shannon and Gabe’s place. They were quick to respond and very understanding of the situation we were in and provided us with a helping hand. If it weren’t for them, my group and I would have most likely slept in the car for the night which was not a way we wanted to start our trip in San Diego. Their place was clean, beautiful, and just felt like home the second we walked through the door. The group and myself will forever be grateful for these two.

The view is absolutely amazing! This place is great for a peaceful relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this house, everything was perfect, no issues and the kids refused to leave! They still want to go back and live at the “house with the blue door”! Clean, tidy, comfortable pillows…definitely recommend booking this place!

Kyle was great to work with, very responsive. The home is very homey, very well stocked with everything we needed. The back yard with pool, hot tub and view make it a perfect place to hang out. We would definitely stay here again.

This space has been great for us. This is the second time we have stayed here & we would stay again. It's convenient, comfortable & clean. We have had to change our dates & extend our stay & Jeremy has been very flexible.

Great place to stay! We love the furnitures and decorations so much. The whole place is super clean and has all the things you need. Would definitely stay here again if I get the chance. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Definitely need a car to get around though.

Great place. Private and quiet. Perfect when traveling with older kids, got the upstairs apartment all to themselves. Small but extremely comfortable, has everything you need. The property is beautiful and well taken care of. The basketball goal was perfect for the family. Pool was clean. I 💯 would stay here again. Owner had great communication.

We had a wonderful stay at Montecito Cottage. The property is huge and looks just as it does in the photos, if not better in person. The cottage is decorated so adorably and there are lots of little touches that make it a perfect getaway. The property is super private. My family especially loved the outdoor kitchen (which is stocked with every appliance you could ever need), all the outdoor seating areas, and the pool (which stayed quite warm despite the weather). The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of natural light. My favorite touch provided was a basket of throw blankets. We would definitely stay at this property again!!

We absolutely loved this place. Incredible views and a true private oasis, the perfect place for our family and young kids to relax in between day trips to San Diego. The pool and putting green provided hours of fun and the neighborhood itself was very quiet and laid back. The hiking trails behind the house were awesome if you’re up to the challenge and the panoramic views from the top of the trail were well worth it.

The fact that we keep coming back and back and back says it all. We love this beautiful " home away from home". Suzanne and Peggy have been so responsive to our every question, need and call that we have come to think of them as family--not only is their home a rare find, but they are as well. When you visit, be sure to make time to take a walk around the corner and "smell the roses"---literally!!! Thousands of them!!! If you look carefully at the labels on the bushes, you are likely to find one named after a close friend or family member. The home itself is spacious with lots of little areas for conversation or reflection, and larger gathering rooms as well. We were in San Diego for a Sibling reunion, the oldest of us being 83 and the youngest 71 . We could not imagine celebrating our time together in a more welcoming home than Suzanne's.
