I absolutely enjoyed my stay with Maria, Osvaldo and their three lovely children. I had planned to come with a friend who cancelled on short notice. Despite this, I could spend a wonderful & memorable time in Calheta, thanks to Maria’s and Osvaldo’s great company and hospitality. They made me feel right at home, let me participate in their everyday life and showed me around. This was a special experience for me, I could not have asked for more. Their house is conveniently located, the apartment is spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Maria was always responsive. She was kind and patient with me, speaking slowly so that I could understand her Portuguese. I enjoyed this because I try to learn some Portuguese. Osvaldo also speaks English, so the communication went well, even though I just speak English & Spanish. I highly recommend their place and I would always stay with them again 🙏❤️. Pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The host is just great, responsive and very friendly. The accommodation is neither. I recommend it!

We had a great stay in this very well furnished, clean and perfectly equipped apartment. The ocean view is really beautiful, a real plus for relaxing. The host, Neves, was very available and responsive throughout the stay. The only small downside is that the accommodation is a little out of the way, but it's still quite manageable: you can easily reach the center by taxi in 5 minutes for a low price. In short, an ideal place to rest and enjoy the calm with a superb view!

My stay at Casa Riviera was very good. The accommodation was large and spacious, with a cute little terrace. It was clean and nice. A very advantageous point, there is an affordable car rental agency just opposite, which is great. I advise you to rent a car for 3-4 days to visit the whole island at your own pace. The beach is about 10 minutes' walk away. I recommend it:) Also, there are a lot of grocery stores nearby so it's great. Restaurant point: there is a brunch nearby Adèle good value for money.

Erico is an amazing host, proactive, responsive, warm, welcoming and very available. Very small downside for the water pressure but Erico has the solution to this problem.
