It is on a cul-de-sac surrounded by lush vegetation, next to a permanent preservation area, with few houses around and where public lighting has not yet arrived (but we put lights on the street). Everything is still rustic! An opportunity for you to explore the richness of the island's ecosystem and enjoy the gentle trails to the beaches of Tassirim, Cueira and Moreré.

Far from all the euphoria of the city and right in the middle of nature, in the open woods for you to breathe fresh air and enjoy the birdsong. As we are in a remote area, we use spring water. (in rainy weather it may look a little cloudy) We have a power generator (backup) in case the utility company's power goes out in the cabin.

The cabin is located approximately 11 km from the center history of Ouro Preto, in Catarina Mendes, a rural village within the Andorinhas APA. A 25- to 30-minute drive. There is no public transportation. Two possible routes, both leading to the Morro São Sebastião neighborhood. The access has about 2km of dirt road. Ordinary passenger vehicles (including 1.0) arrive at the site without difficulties on a daily basis. During rainy periods, the road may have more slippery sections
