É um lugar singular, pois abriga uma rica biodiversidade endêmica, entre 1550 e 1650 m de altitude, além de belas paisagens. A região é remota, não há mercados e restaurantes próximos. Para chegar até a Cabana é necessário veículo alto e curto ou 4x4 (se quiser explorar a região). É uma experiência única para admiradores da Natureza!

Bastante próximo da praça central da cidade (7 minutos andando) e a 3 quarteirões da Igreja do Rosário. Vista linda para a mata ribeirinha. Tem mangueira, caquizeiro, figueira e um canteiro de rosas diversas. A casa é totalmente cercada, com muro e tela, para o caso de hóspedes que possuem animais.
