“Great place. Care to be taken exiting the rental as it is straight onto the street and although it is not a busy road ,some of the locals have Michael Schumacher blood.😉 Didn’t use the available washing machine as a trip to Fundão laundromat gives you an excuse to wander the streets and sample the cafes.👍 We were there in March and had to use the available heater but could imagine that in the warmer month the coolness of the rooms is appreciated. Maria speaks good English but the cleaner has limited English but a very pleasant attitude and is very obliging.”

“The accommodation is amazing and the place wonderful. We have enjoyed the calm and night view of the stars as rarely. Simon and his wife are very hospitable. It's nice to find such special places in such a natural environment. The eggs of the free hens in the morning breakfast are delicious. We hope to return!”

“The stay in the caravan of Luke and Suzie has been a great experience !!! A month in the heart of Portugal. It is located in a beautiful place, surrounded by nature, trees, mountains ... Very well located, near Castelo Branco and Fundao, which suited us very well, since we are moving to Portugal and we needed a place from which to Move to see houses for sale in that area. When we arrived in town, we called them and they came to meet us to show us the way. It is good to save the coordinates and then know how to return during the stay if it gets dark. I had never lived in a caravan and from the first day I felt at home! (In fact, it was our first house in Portugal) The interior space is very cozy and flirtatious, the sofas very comfortable and the bed also super comfortable! You can cook both inside and outside the caravan, inside with electric kitchens or directly on the stove / salamander as I liked to use to take advantage of the heat it gave off. It also has a gas stove outside and even an area with grill. The interior space is super well used in the caravan, it has a lot of cabinets to place things. We were especially good kitchen cabinets to place all kinds of food, and also the small refrigerator. The upper cabinets and the closet for hanging clothes and placing luggage helped us to have more space. The caravan is very bright, comfortable and with windows on the part of the living room and the bed, through which a lot of light enters, which is genius !! They have double curtain to cover them at night. In the part of the kitchen also has another window, which comes in handy to observe the outside while preparing the food. We were there for a whole month, in the middle of winter, and with the salamander it was more than enough to heat the whole space. The outside part in addition to the gas cooker, has an area to wash the dishes, and a table with chairs to eat outside or enjoy a wine, tea, read a book or enjoy the scenery and the sun for a while. Suzie and Luke are a sweetheart, very friendly and attentive, with them we were able to practice English and Portuguese, as well as being able to communicate in Spanish. They told us interesting things about the area and surroundings One of the best things about the place is that the water came from a natural well, with which you can drink fresh water from the spring, natural, fresh and healthy! The animals of the farm also made the stay more cozy! The kids and the sheep, it's nice to see them run around, eat their grass or come to see us, as do the dogs, which are very tender and calm. A super recommended experience, whether you are going to be a few days or weekend, or for a long stay. We hope to return soon and we will recommend it to everyone!”
