Lovely house, great base location for accessing the lovely beaches nearby and having a great place to hang out.

the house is beautiful, located in a very peaceful setting with plenty of space. perfect for a family get together. The pool and house were very clean and Joao was friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

Ricardos Place was great for our family of four (Kids 3,5 and 5 months). Easily accessible, a lot of cool stuff for kids and close to some interesting places and public transportation. Just around a Main Street the place is truly calm and we felt safe at all times. The place is great for lovers of architecture and has a really nice color gamma. Great accommodation for activities around Lisbon. Magda was always available to us and helped us with questions. The animals on the farm were particularly popular with our children. Thus, a clear recommendation

We had a wonderful time here. The house is beautiful and comfortable with great attention to details. It was a very relaxing place to be. We loved spending time here. The coast is stunning and just down the road. We were there for the one day blackout in Spain and Portugal and we were well looked after by the family on the property with candles and flashlight. The bbq came into its own that night.

This place is amazing!!! One of my all time favorite airbnbs, and I have stayed in some great ones. We arrived after a long flight and Isabel greeted us with port, fresh bread and cheese. The home has everything you need, from beach umbrellas, a handmade shopping bag, and games for the kids, to toothbrushes, espresso, wine and milk. And you can see the ocean! The yard is so peaceful, with hammock and bean bags, outdoor dining table, fire pit, and a turtle. The kids loved visiting her five adorable dogs (in the backyard, you can avoid them if you don't like dogs) and parakeets. You can walk one block to a cafe, butcher, and store with all you need, and just a few blocks to the ocean. The home and yard is full of birdsong, breeze, and natural light, and there is a fireplace for colder months. She was also flexible with check out and brought an art kit over for my daughter. I already miss my time there.

It was one of the best stays I've had, we plan to return. We were a group of 8 couples and two children, we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Susana's house has everything you need, and we didn't even know we needed, for a spectacular stay. One of the details we valued a lot was the availability of glasses/wine glasses for the pool/outdoor area. The property was super clean and has shaded parking. The house has pool towels and the kitchen is fully equipped. Susana has prepared a list of recommendations for restaurants, beaches, chefs who come to the house... Spectacular attention, thank you! The one who received us was Mrs. Sónia, who is a sweetheart, to whom I thank very much for her sympathy and attention. We plan to return and I highly recommend Susana's house! Although we were late due to traffic, Marco was able to flexibly hand over the keys to us. The apartment was great, parking right at the front door and the old town within walking distance. In conversation with Marco, we came across one or the other activity that definitely kept its promise.

We had such a wonderful stay at Gerald’s place! We visited in late September so the area seemed much quieter than I imagine the height of summer is but it was probably better for us as we wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got! The air bnb is exactly like the pictures, so beautiful inside which some really nice design features and beautiful/authentic decorations - the kitchen and bathroom were perfect, great bed and the pool and outside areas that come with the property are unmatched we couldn’t have asked for more! The reception team that look after your check in/check out were so lovely and we received a gift basket when we arrived with local wine/produce which we weren’t expecting so it was a really nice surprise. Really helpful during our stay too when we accidentally locked ourselves out! The area is so beautiful and although you defo need a car it only makes exploring more fun, we can’t wait to come back to Comporta and would 100% stay again!

I was delighted to stay in this house! Perfect place to rest, close to the beach, surrounded by nature and with various options for hiking. Impeccable, well-equipped and cared for house. The host has always been available and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Without a doubt, a place to return!

Good place to stay, but the best for a couple

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place was the best place to stay in. I visited my friends, and I can’t even compare their places to mine. It was very nice and clean, very helpful and respectful, responsible and proactive. Beautiful place with nice views and pool, also food was good, and I felt like home. Thanks a lot everyone, especially Armie, who was taking care about all needs.

Eduardo was extremely helpful, responsive, and flexible at all stages of the stay. The apartment is absolutely perfect; spacious, clean, and with a stunning private terrace. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the iconic Alfama neighbourhood. We had the perfect getaway for a large group of 8.

The place is truly magical, it looks like a little slice of paradise just steps from the sea. Lovely places and a place to stay that makes you feel right at home. A beautiful garden, the barbecue corner, a special touch, and the lovely decor. Highly recommended for those who want to be close to the big city but also want to explore the surroundings without losing the feeling of home.

Celia was a wonderful host and the cabin in a great condition, spacious and clean. The dogs and the horse that came by sometimes was the cherry on top. I would recommend to take earplugs if you are a light sleeper because of the nearby road. We really enjoyed our stay and can fully recommend Celias house.

Very nice small studio, with an available host, a great terrace and good wifi connection. Quick access to Sintra. Small downside, it was a little chilly at night this December. But, overall, we recommend eyes closed! We'll definitely be back!

Highly recommend Filipe’s Airbnb! Situated just outside of Ericeira and easy to get there via car, taxi and I think there’s also a bus. The Airbnb is just a short walk down to the beach where there’s a small bar and cafe. Also it has a surf school which is much less busy than the ones in Ericeira. The house itself is just a perfect place to relax, there is loads of space outside the house to sunbath or sit out for dinner. Filipe is a brilliant host, he helped us with everything we needed and let us know the area and things to do. He also has two amazing dogs that love some fuss. Overall we couldn’t recommend Filipe and his Airbnb enough. If we’re ever in the area again we’ll definitely stay again.
