I’ll share stories about how we relocate beehives to areas with specific flowers and plants, and you’ll enjoy cutting and tasting fresh honeycomb . • Next, we’ll visit a nearby spot to try handmade loukoumades (Greek donuts) topped with monovarietal honeys, praline, and traditional spoon sweets like black cherry and grape. Traditional Greek food tour in hidden Athens

The no 1 Airbnb experience in all of Greece! Discover the most authentic and fresh, traditional Athenian food in non tourist areas and hidden spots of Athens! The places you may not find alone! Visit local streets and see, taste and shop for cheese, cured meat, fruits, sweets and spices in the markets full of colour, scents and noise. Sample olives, oil and honey from a farmer and local barrel wine made on the tavernas premises. On tours starting at 3.00pm , the fish and meat market are starting to close so we go quickly to see as much as possible. On Sundays and weekly tours starting after 3.30pm markets ARE SHUT so on this tour we will visit a taverna and eat traditional Athenian food and go to a spice shop and a honey and olive oil producer to taste these amazing products! We will enjoy a fantastic deli with a cured meat and cheese tasting and sample Greek coffee and fruits from a local producer. Many tastings offered including sit down meals of meat and fish on all our tours, as you learn about Greek culture from people who live it daily. You will have many friends in Athens at the end of this experience! Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available however, vegan options NOT available on Sundays.
